Yes. That’s always been our proposal, to establish an original international entity that isn’t a copy of the IOC.
The ISAs will be the national sports councils of the North Pacific Games movement. Each ISA will be responsible for organizing, supporting and overseeing their national team in the North Pacific Games. The ISAs will be subject to the rules of, and report to the Inter-Sport Foundation. As well as promoting sports nationally, an ISA could also place a bid for the North Pacific Games for a potential host city. We hope that this entities will strengthen the spirit of cooperation and friendly competition amongst the international community. The ultimate governance and authority in the ISFO will be the General Assembly.
The General Assembly will have powers to vote on decisions, including on which cities and Inter-Sport Association's will host the North Pacific Games. It will consists of 3 or more representatives of an ISA of each member country and/or territory, the Honorary-President, Director General and the members of the Executive Board.
Sessions of the General Assembly will be chaired by the ISFO President, with each ISA and the President having one vote. However the Honorary-President, Director General, the Executive Board, representatives of an Organizing Committee (OC) of a North Pacific Games and observers invited by the President may deliberate but will not have voting powers at the General Assembly. The running this organization will rely on funding from the South Baban government.
Other specifics may be added or changed in a future ISFO Charter agreed by said organization.
