thanks!

And once it's high enough and has flew far enough into one direction, nations with less patience and nerves, might react with an ICBM-launch themselves. Only, that this will not be a test. Rather, a lethal misunderstanding."

You will get a rough number how many is in your army
That's what I do anyway

That's what North Korea does.
Armies aren't that big in any other nation.

Not really if you think of it

But ballistic missiles only take like 30-35 minutes and that is if they are being launched halfway across the world.
Less time if closer, so there is barely time to evacuate.

Yes, yes, this is true.
However, it's better to try to have an evacuation attempted than it is to just sit back and watch people die.
25-30 minutes is certainly enough for a number of people to escape, not all, but considering how massive our highway networks are, there's a lot of room for panicked civilians to flee.

Yes! Those highways are useful!

Well, ABM exist.

Soviet Union lost 15% of its population in the entirety of WW2.
This includes military/civilian and the Nazi atrocities.
If you have 25%, it is going to turn into a mob rather than an army.

If 4% of my pop was in the military, I would have 752,000 military personnel, I feel like that’s overkill

Most likely, it is half of that time. Maybe less.

Active Personell, yes
With reserves, no.

Wubdich wrote:Active Personell, yes

So if that is active personnel that is overkill but if that is active+reserves, it isn’t? (Just a tad confused)

We have no ABM infrastructure yet, we don't spend enough on our military to be able to do that.

War Peace 123 wrote:Most likely, it is half of that time. Maybe less.

My point remains that trying is still better than letting them all die without warning.

The Municipalities of Antarctica wrote:Not to mention, with our computerized and AI guided economy, we can quite easily refocus our raw resources and materials into an automatic relief system that will locate ground zero of catastrophes and dispatch aid within moments of the system registering it.
Check the RP rulebook and then your own Defence Forces stat.

i want to see the number of my troops....

Wubdich wrote:Active Personell, yes

Remember that the US active military size is less than 0.5% of its population currently.

I do agree. But better to avoid war.

Dutch North Indies wrote:i want to see the number of my troops....

you make that up

Dutch North Indies wrote:i want to see the number of my troops....

Again.
Check your Defense Forces stat. Then use the RP rulebook's classifications for each level.
From there, you decide your number of forces. More forces at a lower DF stat = less trained.

War Peace 123 wrote:Remember that the US active military size is less than 0.5% of its population currently.

Well I don’t want just 94,000 troops, that is terrible

Nacoa Dya wrote:So if that is active personnel that is overkill but if that is active+reserves, it isn’t? (Just a tad confused)

Depends on how you handle military and what rights you give in these regards.

War Peace 123 wrote:Remember that the US active military size is less than 0.5% of its population currently.

True.
Didn't think of it, as I'm busy with 5 things at once.

Nacoa Dya wrote:Well I don’t want just 94,000 troops, that is terrible

I have 50,000. You have twice my military size.
