Honestly, I do agree with Auphelia on this point. Just use a little imagination in responding. Otherwise just skip the posting entirely if you don’t plan on bringing anything other then “dude” to the conversation. Plus all you really need to fill space is talk about Ryan Reynolds for a sentence and you know who will jump in with at least a paragraph or two. Just don’t get Poppy involved with one of her posts.

Oh, it was awful! To think, his identical twin was actually made of asparagus before he disappeared, and was also his own grandmother the whole time!

My, that programme really got good after the writers started doing drugs.

There's a difference between posting one word and posting something that would take one year to read.

That's the problem: one word posts take up all of the space. They're easy to make so it just goes back and forth, people saying nothing at all for pages on end. It was horrible.

Like the TSSS and Si RP that went on for a hundred pages on end.

I've been here for a much shorter time than you (though this is also my founding region and I have never left), but even now I barely care to know most of the nations here. It's not that they don't seem like perfectly nice people, I just can't be bothered.

As for the leadership, it does feel like the same twelve or so nations just take turns being Ministers. I do like how easy it is for our nations to get involved in the government, but it seems people vote for candidates they recognise and know can do good work rather than taking that risk on a newer player (though occasionally we get a refreshing twist, like dear Fihami!).

Oh dear. Am I the establishment? For the past four election cycles (excluding the one I was ineligible for due to term limits) I've served on the Local Council . . . dear me, that's more than a year total! And with the elections coming up that I fully intend on winning, that may be my fifth term!

Oh dear, oh my!

You've been here since the day I was founded and I've always enjoyed your presence in TSP. You and basically everyone that makes this RMB what it is-

wait...

A refreshing twist? I am NOT lemon-lime flavored sparkling water!!! I am Phoenix, just your friendly neighborhood MoMA! Actually, I could go for some, at a fancy dinner party of sorts, watching everyone else pretend to like the stuff for posterity's sake. Quite amusing. But only if I get to be the head chef of this fancy dinner party. I'll command the kitchen to make the best soups and salads, followed ny pasta dishes... seafood of course... and the fanciest desserts imagineable!

And, the establishment becomes the establishment for a reason. Because we love y'all and know y'all know what y'all are doing <3

Personally though, I love seeing a mix of old and new in a cabinet that works well together. Like rose gold and marble.

There really isn't room for 1 word replies anywhere except quick dms to let someone know you got their reminder to do the thing once you get back home. Even then, I would prefer to say "I got your reminder, I'll do the thing" rather than "ok". It's a bit more polite, too.

Finger on the pulse?

I thought we had killed the RMB ages ago!

It was in a coma for ten years, and now it's back. Who knows what sorts of secrets will be revealed . . . next time on The Old and The Chatty!

Speaking of things people need:

You are cordially invited to our TSP Summer Party

Please join us from June 20th to the 23rd for some relaxing times with your fellow citizens and a sweet summer banquet. There will be music and games along the shore, and a table with the fanciest spread of food in the 7 seas for your picking. Feel free to share your artistic talents with the people around you, or a lovely song that you can’t get enough of. Or, perhaps authorship is more your style?

Oh my! Oh my, oh my indeed!

As you very well don't know, it's been raining slightly for the past hour or so, the rain just pittering and pattering about on the windowpanes, nothing very exciting. It's all very Wuthering Heights, you know. The lightning and thunder don't, however, because they're busy re-enacting the first scene of The Tempest. So every now and then amongst the pleasantness there will be a faint boom from the distance where the lightning has found passage through the skies, not quite frequently enough to become accustomed to it and just loud enough to cause a bit of a fright.

I'm just sitting here, minding my own business, when suddenly I decide it's the perfect time for tea. It's rather cold and wet outside, the light is perfect, and it's just such a cosy feeling to curl up on a nice chair with a cup of tea and a book while it rains. Well, unbeknown to me, the last of the black teas had been used earlier! To think! I most certainly wasn't about to drink an herbal tea, and upon the suggestion that I go without, I said (rather loudly) "What?!"*.

Not the space of a heartbeat after/as I said that, the thunder came booming, rumbling through the earth and the air, so close that it literally caused everything to shake a bit and the windows and the screens over them to shudder in that rattling clatter that happens on occasion from massive vibrations. My niece (the young one, not the one I'm proud of) - who was present at the moment and is at an age that is quite terrible at hiding emotional reactions - shrieked and is now thoroughly convinced I am a witch.

I haven't had such a good laugh in ages.

*Let it be known that this what was not born of temper, but a combination of incredulity and my not hearing what had been said

"Rose gold" is gold without conviction or sense of self.

Lily pad nation wrote:Yeah, basically every classification of government is in the WA. It does effect your stats but not by much.

How much does it effect your stats? What happens if you leave it unchecked? Would it lower and raise different things? Does it make additions to your nations law page with all the different banner-like things on it?

Lower and raise stats, yes.
It mostly depends on the proposal really.
GA ones, which there's a good chance they are going to be mild rather than strong, might lower rights and industry stats. They will say whether or nor they will affect business or civil rights.
Laws of your nation are determined by you, and the WA cannot effect those.
In the SC, there's just commendations, condemnations, and liberations.
