The Coup

The military General, Lord, Marshal, Admiral? Albert Jones Hoffing has seized power and dissolved the government, creating an Autocracy with his provisional military Junta. The current whereabouts of the Prime Minister Yuri Newton is unknown and is supposedly trying to retake power.

Hoffing has stated in his address to the public that he wanted to bolster the military to a state of readiness back to the old days when there was a military. "I want this nation to feel proud again for its armed forces. We can't let outsiders who might want to prey on this grand nation of ours to simply take territory that rightfully belongs to us. We must protect this nation from all internal and external threats with utmost care."

The ordinary citizens have had their political freedom stripped from them but their civil rights haven't been touched, yet.
Only time will tell of what will happen to the average Joe. Some speculate the usual dictatorship tyranny that happens in the morning news of suppressing very volatile rebels to the executions of random innocent people. Though no posters or portraits have been sighted in the local schools or city halls as of now, they're all just waiting for what happens next.

As of right now, in my new secret bunker in the outskirts/middle of no where, (even I don't know where I am) I'm glad to announce I'm being funded to report all the things here, so that's nice. I don't know who it is that's funding me but as long as I get paid to write these, it's a win-win either way.
