Geographical Information
Nexia consists of 4 Main Islands, Lancis which holds the capital and many of the larger cities, Paragon which holds the majority of Nexia's forests and plains, Aurash which consists of a mountainous coast and rocky plains, finally Hiyea which is mainly tundra and taiga. Between the 4 islands lies an ocean named the Tempest for its unusually active weather patterns.

Political Information
Nexia is a constitutional monarchy, the office of Emperor was neutered in a peaceful revolution characterized by demonstrations and referendums.
The Nexian government is led by the Consensus, a council of elected representatives each roughly representing 2500 individuals. The Consensus is led by a Praetor, who elected separately and acts as both the chief ambassador of the nation and a policymaker. Each Consensus member may propose legislation, each has one vote. The Consensus does not have political parties.
Interest groups, such as civil rights organizations, may also join the Consensus and have their voices heard, they may even propose legislation. They do not however get a vote.
Every branch of the Government, even the courts, has a seat on the Consensus but some lack voting powers. The courts have the added advantage of suggesting points of law and ensuring the Consensus acts constitutionally.
Judges, Police Chiefs, Ambassadors, and Ministers are each elected by the people.

Elections are held every 7 years, or when 2/3s of the Consensus vote for an election.

International Policy and Foreign Policy
Nexia considers itself to be a power on the world stage. We attempt to foster peaceful negotiation as means of conflict resolution and are open advocates of Globalisation and World Trade. Nexia is however prepared for those nations that disagree and will fight ferociously for its culture and its ideals if threatened or attacked.
Nexia is happy to talk with any country or region whether about trade, neutral arbitration, or even peacekeeping initiatives using its extensive military personnel.

Economics
Nexia's chief exports are minerals such as silver and uranium mined from Hiyea's mountains, Fish from Lancis, and Lumber from Paragon.
Nexia's economy thrives due to its tourist industry. Lancis' southern archipelagos are veritable paradises and its northern mountains are home to many skiing lodges which are quite popular with outdoor adventurers.

Nexia usually spends a majority of its income on civil works and welfare, however, a great deal of its income is spent on its modern military projects and space exploration. The Nexian Outer Space And Scientific TRAining initiative (NOSASTRA) is pioneering the future of space travel utilizing cutting-edge technology, whilst eating up a sizeable chunk of Nexia's funds.

Nexia funds it's own social Medicare system, with 100% of essential medical costs, including prescription medication being covered by government plans.
