Collaboration over Competition: The purpose of this region is to create a tapestry of interwoven narratives that forms a cohesive whole. The goal as a member of this region isn't to be better than other nations. The goal as a member of this region is to contribute to telling a story. The Founders do this by talking to RP partners about where an arc should be headed. You are encouraged (though by no means required) to use similar collaborative methods.

Creativity over Superiority: This region is not a place to assert dominance over other players for the sake of asserting dominance, rather, it is to make interactions enjoyable for all involved in the spirit of conducting cooperative and constructive story-telling. If you make a powerful setting, you will be expected to find ways for less powerful characters from other players' settings to influence it and contribute to the story you're telling.

Your World, Your Rules... Within Reason: When you build your universe, you get to decide what functions and what doesn't. Any character, concept or idea created in a Universe separate from your own must first be verified by the player of that Universe. You are in control of the laws of physics that transpire in your universe and how they manifest. As a good rule of thumb, the less restrictive your universe is for yourself, the less restrictive you should be on others visiting.

Standard Rules, Standard Ettiquette: RP in this region is recognized more so as cooperative, consensual story-telling between two or more parties, as that seems to be what works best for a text-based form of RP involving a universe for every player. We dedicate our rules and our encouraged etiquette in faith of this idea. A good rule of thumb, in any circumstance, be it with our rules and guidelines for etiquette, bad faith actors will not be tolerated, as this is a region for maturity and constructive behavior.

Standard Rules: The standard rules of our region are the same as any other you'd find on your average forum-based roleplay. Do not godmod, powergame, metagame, commit plagiarism of other players' ideas ETC. Overall, we encourage all members of this region to exercise common sense.

Standard Etiquette: With every RP, it is advisable to have a mutually agreed upon plan for the story both parties would like to tell; you needn't plan for every minute detail, just enough to understand what the point of the story is and/or what both parties wish to gain from it. Avoid overpowering your fellow region members unfairly; I.E bending your own rules against them to gain an unfair advantage. Encourage the flow of roleplay with posts that are easy to respond to; try to leave open-endings for your player to respond and react to in a fair, timely manner, and avoid one-liner posts and responses if possible.
