Official Statement on Reconstruction

On 12/16/24, Gonk Droids, one of the former Ministers of Defense (specifically during the time period of 12/12/20 to 03/02/21) and Minesweepers took control of the remains of the Most Serene Republic of Old Zealand. Immediately after doing this a potential reconstruction of Old Zealand was declared, with the intent to contact some former native members and regions of interest, primarily former allies, to decide the fate of Old Zealand. Before this, The Most Serene Republic of Old Zealand was re-declared by another group, all of whom have CTE'd.

The Reconstruction Authority of Old Zealand hereby declares the official end of the Second Most Serene Republic of Old Zealand. Additionally, due to this Second Most Serene Republic not being an official successor state, any actions taken by the Second Most Serene Republic of Old Zealand after the CTEing of Old Zealand Founder on 10/07/21 are now null and void.

Additionally, the following changes take effect immediately.

The Reconstruction Authority shall be led by Gonk Droids. Additional positions may be appointed or abolished at any time.

The Reconstruction Authority reserves the right to update this list of changes at any point during it's establishment.

Elections are hereby abolished untill the Reconstruction Authority deems them fit to resume or a government is established.

Article 3 of the Constitution is now null and void, meaning that the Supreme Court is abolished permanently.

Article 4 of the Constitution is now null and void. The rights given to citizens in this article already exist due to this being a region on a website.

Any individual or region declared Persona Non Grata are now pardoned.

Any militaries or militias operating under Old Zealand are now disbanded.

In the event of Old Zealand Founder's return, the Reconstruction Authority will immediately secede all authority to them, assuming a new government has not already been formed.
