The Empress' Speech - Empress Ammarah's Speech from her Ascension Ceremony

Good evening, everyone. I want to start by thanking the wonderful people of the Empire, our friends, and my father Emperor-Emeritus Arran. I am so proud of how far the Empire has gone during my time, we have grown further than many thought we would and we have proven our enemies wrong time and time again. I want to thank everyone who came today as well, our friends and allies. Without you the Empire would not be where it is either, and I want to thank Allah (SWT) for guiding me to the amazing Kantrian community. I accept the Imperial Crown and promise to lead the Empire faithfully.
When I first came to Kantrias I was looking for a new adventure. I was looking for a place that had potential, that could grow beyond my time and become a new leading organization in gameplay. I found Kantrias and saw potential. I went to work trying to help grow this region and worked with my father extensively on creating our own unique path forward instead of falling in line. We forge our own path, we build our own bridges, and we will continue to grow. I tried to step away after I felt the Empire was at a point it would be fine on its own, I needed time to focus on my real life situation as well. The more I tried to keep myself away, the more I realized I missed the Empire and its wonderful community. That’s why I returned when I finally had time, I saw the Empire needed help again and realized it was my duty to help the community I love so much. I hope that I have done that so far, and I hope to continue doing that in the future.
In line with our growth, I will be establishing a new leading document of the Empire. This new Imperial Constitution is what I consider to be the natural progression of Imperialism and the Empire. I will also be opening up a Constitutional Convention for the Capital State of Kantrias starting this upcoming Monday. This Convention will allow the people of the Capital State to determine their own Governance in agreement with myself. I intend to hold these conventions in each of our colonies in due time. To grow the Empire, to spread Imperialism. There will be more changes incoming to continue this transitionary period.
In my first two acts as Empress, I will be enacting my first Imperial Proclamation and recognizing new members of the Quilor family. My first Imperial Proclamation shall shuffle the Cabinet as needed with the new Constitution, and appointing a new Arbiter of Justice. I am proud to be recognizing my children with my wife Phoebe Quilor-Vytherov; Sir Karl von Quilor-Habsburg-Lorraine, Nicholas von Quilor-Habsburg-Lorraine, and Alex Fatima von Quilor-Habsburg-Lorraine. They are all placed under the Quilor-Habsburg-Lorraine cadet house, which will be led by Sir Karl von Quilor-Habsburg-Lorraine and shall all be considered siblings.
I want to specifically thank someone I consider to be a great mentor of mine both before and during my time in the Empire, Valtarre of the Brotherhood of Malice. I want to thank my father Emperor-Emeritus Arran for his friendship and leadership of the Empire, for this reason I will be granting him new titles in my first Imperial Proclamation. I am proud to call myself a Quilor, and your daughter. I want to thank my family - the Quilors - for all their help within the Empire and I hope to continue working with many of y’all in the future. I want to thank the Vytherovs for being a great family to my wife and myself as well, and to the Asteorras for giving me a home for so long before I found the Quilors. Even if it doesn’t feel like a lot, y’all have helped me in many ways attain my confidence and ability to grow to the level I am now.
Thank you all, once again, for coming to my Ascension Ceremony. Thank you to everyone who has helped me in writing the new Constitution, helped me in the creation and handling of the server. The Empire as it stands today is a testament to the amazing Imperial Community, we have already grown beyond what our detractors and the traitors claimed we could and we aren’t done yet.
