The Subspace Rebels || N-Day: Getting Started

| | | | | | | | | |

As the title suggests, this is part of a guide to one of NS's most fun, fast-paced events, N-Day. N-Day can be super confusing or frustrating to even the most experienced players, so these guides are designed to provide some insight into how to prepare, what to do, and show how some things work.

Before N-Day

  • LinkJoin the Subspace Rebels Discord server. This is where important orders will be given out, and this is where the majority of communication and coordination with other Rebels will take place.
If you are unable to access discord, please telegram Tapheroni with the nation that you want to receive orders with.

  • Read Testlandia's basic guide, as well as ours.

  • Check out the N-Day Changelog! (edit: there are no changes this time around, disregard this for now.)

  • Make puppets. Lots and LOTS of puppets!
A puppet is a nation that isn't your main one. They're usually numbered or named "[nation name] Puppet Nation" or something similar in order to designate this status, but you can name them whatever you want. Make as many as you can manage, as you may need a lot of them for N-Day. Note that all puppets must be founded a week before N-Day, so in this case you should make as many as you can by September 18th at 6 PM EDT. See this guide to learn how to make puppets super quickly!

  • Roughly 3 days before N-Day, faction registrations should open. Get your nations into our faction (put link here) as soon as possible.

During N-Day

  • Listen to orders from Subspace Command, which will be posted in the discord server.

  • Begin stockpiling. For more info, take a look at part 2 of this guide.

  • Talk to your fellow rebels if you need any help!

Additional Info

There’s a few other additional and crucial details and instructions that we all need to follow in order to succeed:

  • ALWAYS WAIT FOR AND FOLLOW ORDERS.
Following orders is super important. If there are none, wait for some and stockpile in the meantime.

  • DO NOT RANDOMLY ATTACK OTHER NATIONS OR TARGET OTHER FACTIONS UNLESS YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO.
Self-explanatory. Don’t go rogue or act alone, it could get you and all of us killed.

  • If you are leaving for an extended period of time, PULL ALL YOUR NATIONS OUT OF OUR FACTION.
This is a safety precaution. You never know when we’re gonna get hit with a large attack that could obliterate our shieldbank, and you don’t want to login and see that all your nations have destroyed overnight. Not only does this add to our radiation and lower our score, but it also leads to you having less nations to work with. In a worst-case scenario, you could have none. If you’ve gotta go to bed, take all of your nations out of our faction, and then add them back in once you’re ready. Nations that aren’t in factions don’t get attacked at all.

  • Most importantly... remember to have fun!
At the end of the day, this is just a silly event on a polsim game, and we’re all just looking to enjoy it. While it may be a fierce competition, it’s also a game, so don’t stress out over it too much. Worrying over things is a job for the higher-ups :p

Always remember to have fun and do the best that you can!

Is that all?

Nope! This dispatch is just the beginning, go check out part 2!

We hope that you’ve found all of our dispatches to be helpful, and we can’t wait to work with you during the nuclear apocalypse :3
