That motivation wasn't yet fully realized in our early days, under the early Luminous Queendom and then the Triarchy under Luminarchs Oseao, Irenae, and Lysaris. It wasn't something I fully understood when I joined a fledgling Starlight with 130 members of the World Assembly, a Starlight that had taken to the stars but hasn't yet fully mastered them. Even then, though, it was clear that I joined something special - a community that was realizing its own destiny, one unbound by any Horizon.

Enter March, when I first entered office as Aetherion. I wasn't a newcomer to government by then: in fact, I had already served on the Triune Circle nearly a half dozen times in an acting capacity. Still, something felt different. At last, it was my turn to hold the pen that was writing our fated story. And so, I've always sought to make the most of my time as Aetherion. These past two terms have been defined by many things. Recognition — our Triune Circle has awarded six Orders of Merit, and members have sponsored an additional four Honorary Titles, recognizing our most accomplished community members. Revamp — we debuted the new Ministry of Gameside which has since cemented itself into our government, forming a thriving subculture and welcoming over 200+ new unique members through our gates. Triumph — today, the Galactic Armada unequivocally holds the largest, most skilled updating force in the game, while the new Aethereal Council helps fuel our internal success.

Still, though. There's not enough words in the dictionary to fully illustrate the extent to which our community's been thriving over the past six months. I haven't even mentioned the extensive modernization of our Constitution, carried out through seven separate amendments — us giving further life to Horizon through a new flag, banner, and World Factbook Entry — the complete rejuvenation of our media scene, through the Voice of the Stars and The Intergalactic, both of which received visual reworks and additional care — the additional reworks of our dispatch network, adding the Master Dispatch and several new archives to our collections so Starborn can easily access the accomplishments of past generations — and the unprecedented new opportunities that we've given to so many members of our community.

And, that's still only a glimpse into everything we've experienced together, including two lovely roleplay festivals, becoming the largest User-Created Region in the game, molding the new General Assembly through our ideas and the election of our own Secretariat candidate, and so, so much more. And, for all our successes, I have everybody who's joined our community or served in government to thank. This includes our inaugural Aethereal Councilors - Centennium, Stevist Guam, Merethin, and Kaidan. This includes this term's other ministers - Aav,Idinist, and Cuchimilco. And, this includes Luminarchs Oseao and Irenae. None of this would've been possible without your collective support, and sharing my philosophy that we should try our hardest to leave the community in an even better position than we found it.

Now, it's our turn to look towards the future, to use our collective passion and excitement to keep our light shining ever brighter for generations to come. We've learned many lessons over the past six months, just as we've experienced new, unimaginable heights of success. For now, my turn to write our destiny is over. It's time for new ideas, new strategies, and new love for Starlight & Horizon to lead the way this coming term. One of my final projects was the creation of the Skyweaver role with unaminous support, a new position for ambitious Starborn to make their mark on the community. Together, the next Aetherion, Skyweaver, and Flamewarden will work with our Luminarchs to appoint a new government that will continue redefining us in ways not yet seen.

So, my message to Starlight & Horizon is never stop shining. No matter what challenges the future holds, we'll overcome, and we'll continue thriving. Don't be afraid to take matters into your own hands by sharing your ideas or vision for the future, no matter what impact you think you'll have. And, with that, I'm fully confident that we'll continue on as the tightly knit community full of silliness and thrill, while still yet growing our influence and making even more of a mark on the game.
