Welcome to NationStates, a political simulator game. You're probably very overwhelmed, and we're here to help with that.
My name is Badger, and let me be the first to bid you welcome to The West Pacific!

You'll be getting a lot of telegrams from different people wanting you to join them about now, and if you'd like, you can turn them off by visiting page=tgsettings and changing the recruitment setting to "block all." And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
All of us here hope you'll stick around, and we're one of the best regions in the game with just about everything any region can offer, so that makes the decision easy! Our region is the best place to learn how to play the game, meet new people, and get involved at your own pace, because we've got tons of new players just like you! You can quickly learn way too much about the game by reading the Survival Guide.
