On February 9th, 2018, regions around the globe (or disk, or cube, or whatever shape the weird and wonderful planet of NationStates is) seemed to have invested into scientific advancement.

This graphic includes Lazarus, The World, and the pacifics.

P.S.: If this was some random balance patch I had no idea happened on account of not yet discovering NationStates, please correct me.

Curious, I remember suddenly dropping off of the rank and later recovering an equivalent position.

Guys, I need a tip.

I accidentally instated the prohibition, and I want my booze back.

Is there an issue to do that, or should I abandon hope?

Today is a sad day.

Yesterday, Monday, April 15th 2019, the Notre Dame cathedral caught on fire. It quickly spread across the building and raged on. The roof and a spire collapsed due to the damage. Firefighters, police, emergency services rushed upon the scene to help stop the fire that would soon devour the entire building.

Down below in the archives, where thousands of texts, art, holy relics, were at, priests dashed into the archives wanting to save all the history that was apart of this building and in this paper and metal.

Soon the fire was put out, but the damages were a bit severe due to the roof collapse and the spire collapse. But *all* the relics in the archives were saved, by the priests.

I thank everybody who helped save this historic site, and I hope it will be fixed. A French Billionaire has already given 113 million in funds.

I thank everybody, and I hope it can be rebuilt soon.

Spread the word around on what has happened to this historic site that held hundreds of historic relics all the way back from the middle ages.

The following pictures may be hard for some viewers to look:

What a pity...
It's still standing!-I feel sorry for the French; it really is a pity that this monstrosity of Christian bigotry and suppressive supremacy is still standing; Hopefully some will see it as a sign to abandon their delusive and errant ways, coming to realise that not scrutinising their faith is never to have any possitive effect on themselves and the others.
Religious bigotry never has done anything good to anyone.

HOW DARE YOU!

You dare act like this upon a historic site, that doesn't even revolve around religion completely? We have records from the Crusades. We have things only in that cathedral that we would never get back if they got burned. All the documents. All the history. AND YOU DAMN DARE BE LIKE THIS?!?! People risked their lives going in for this stuff and saving this building.

You don't even deserve respect. Not even a look. I am just appalled.

I am appalled by your bigotry. HOW DARE you!-To your information, the Crusades are the very epitome of religious bigotry and disrespect towards other religions. Maybe they are a part of history, maybe it's worth remembering them, however they had a bad impact on the Middle East and Europe that can still be recognised;
History?-Do you mean religious history or ACTUAL history?-There's a difference. Moreover, history is nothing but the past. Is it culture?-It is a part of it, ONE part of it. There is more than just history that is culture.
Well, no one ordered them to go in and save all these scripts; it was their decision to risk their lives; they knew the risks; if they died whilst trying to save these texts than it's their own fault.

You ask how can you be like this?
And you are right to ask that question.
How can I be so free of bigotry, of hate?-How can I be so tolerant, so open-minded?-How can I be so inclusive?
Well, the answer to all of those questions is rather simple:
I just CAN. I am free, I am alive, I can THINK and I am not someone's else, not anyone's else possession; I only belong to myself.

Sadly, it's not something that can be said about you. So, at the end of the day, it is you, not me, that doesn't deserve anyone's respect.
However, the difference between us is that I do respect your opinion nevertheless, as for I am not as bigoted as you.

It took you almost a full hour to type up this response.

I am not religious in anyway. I am atheist. I personally even don't like religion sometimes. But this doesn't mean I go and smash everybodys religion and thoughts. You need to be more open minded. Like pushing aside the fact that the Notre Dame is just a building, a historic one at that, that many people cherish and love.

You don't even understand how people, of every single religion, christian, jewish, muslim, atheist, Hinduism, people of all religions, watched their TVs or watched on their phones or whatever, or watched it in person, in shock, praying for the building not to be burned down.

France is majority atheist. French citizens watched this building, in the blaze, and prayed. Prayed not to a god, not for some miracle to happen, but that something that is apart of THEIR culture not to be destroyed. Last night, as the fire continued to rage on, everybody watching in person brought a candle and lit it, wanting hope to continue that the building could be saved.

I am done with this argument, as you are too simple minded and closed to actually have a conversation that you remotely even want to contribute any valid point to.

I went to Notre Dame once... remember sitting outside bored out of my mind making origami stuff with a napkin because the ticket line my parents had to go through was like forever long. x)

Neat place though, once we made it in (well, and I guess pretty neat looking from the outside too tbh)! Sad to hear about the fire. :(

Actually, I forgot to add:
You are ignorant.
Also it is 'a part' and not 'apart' ; the two have different meanings.
Besides, I was not looking for an argument. If you seek an argument, please seek elsewhere.

In addition to that, you shouldn't snip others posts, but actually read them. Maybe then you would have realised that I am not a bigoted religious.
I feel sad for you.

Bigots just seem to be everywhere these days.

So, the Regional Guard recently went out on deployment to protect Lazarene interests! however, for that they had to drop their endorsements. Could you please endorse Custadia and The united syrian states out of appreciation?

Errmmm, I don't remember the price. I was 10 at the time so I didn't really pay attention to a whole lot. Sorry. XD I do remember thinking the rose windows were really cool looking... and that having window frames made out of stone was super weird but amazing at the same time.
