You see the 40k 10th ed rules? Looks like a CSM with knights list is super viable and easy to do now.

Yea, it has me tempted to look around for some war dogs. Its cool how simple theyve made list building. But really annoyed cuz codexes cost shmoney and now its a new edition lol

It would've been fun to run a 40k RP, but how it works is instead of an arbitrary plot of land or worlds or a whole faction, instead every player has a point pool and you can build whatever force you want within the limits of those points
With the caveat that there can be no named characters from existing fluff.

Eh, if you ask me personally having too many quotas and systems without proper integration it really doesn't work. Don't get me wrong 40K RP is fun and playing tabletop simulators is similarly so. But without dedicated tools Nation States is best reserved for fully creative writing.

I’ve been working to pay for bits and just been kit bashing Noise marines. Pure noise aesthetic and its been fun.

Gearing up to play some games at the local store.

I do miss having a good ol RP but it’s hard to sit down and write recently.

A game simulator would be reeeal fun with the right tools.

Yeah. Life really goes on. I can't say I have as much time for RP nowadays as I used to either but this website just has that something that keeps bringing people back in.
