That argument truly holds little weight, as nearly half of our community operates in the Discord. That is nothing more but a semantic based argument, that holds no value in our actual day to day.
Look, it's a simple bill. If Fascists are bad, ban fascists. If we're an anti-fascist region, then we should be banning fascists. If we're fine with them though, let's remove the tag.
I saw an issue with our region, and proposed a bill to solve the issues in said region. This is exactly how the legislative process is supposed to work and I am following that procedure to the letter.
We already have a precedent set regarding dragging officials to court for what is believed to have been unjust banning
This means that whether your bill explicitly states it or not
Representing a banned nation will be legal and the option open and with a precedent already set
I feel like fundamentally the entire bill achieves nothing new but only limit us for the sake of saying we legally banned fascism

Again, I appreciate you believing that you know my reasoning for why I write bills. It truly means a lot that you believe you know me this well.
That being said, the bill is simple. Ban Fascists, as we are an anti-fascist region. We're against hate speech, we're against violence, we're against all forms of discrimination and hate, so let's formally codify that into law through the ban of the people who espouse such hateful ideology.

Mate, if you think I ban free speech or the opposition then you have not been in Solidarity or any of the other servers that I've created. Only people I ban are those who espouse hate speech or identify as fascists.
I'm saying you would do that, I'm saying people can and probably be used to ban their oppositions.
Hence why I added in the reasoning to be able to appeal the ban.
If it would make it so folks are less upset about a policy that goes along with our regional tags, I can amend the legislation to be more detailed and bring it back tomorrow.
It's already formalised in our tags and our OOC stance against it has been pretty clear. Fascism and hate speech isn't tolerated!

You're setting up a procedure that severely limits our ability to crack down on fascism and hate speech and the like by concentrating way too much power into two individuals
You're putting a vague definition that could potentially be exploited and thus make us unable to take action when it could be desperately needed
You're putting in a reminder saying you can challenge the government which by the way is a constitutional right and inherent factor in all bills without them directly stating it
Formalising our anti-fascists views can be done without setting up procedures

As much as we have agreed in the past I feel this bill here is not only pointless but also rather limiting when in fact it should open up for more anti-fascism

I hate to be the annoying SJW however Article V doesn't protect Hispanic/Latino people, Mixed people, Asain People, Immigrants, Hindu People, Women, and every other group not specifically listed. I also intentionally included the fact that it "included" these groups, but "was not limited" to them because we will undoubtedly be unable to list every societal cleavage that occurs within the many hundreds of thousands of societal groups, micro groups and micro cultures that exist within our world; especially as new societal groups form and disappear each day.
