I've committed myself to be prepared for any response. And thus I shall be watching the RMB unusually closely. (Except for the next 5 minutes.)

The masses are surrendering their civil liberties without complaint for the sake of shopping convenience, the government builds houses for foreign newcomers, the daily weather forecast often predicts light showers of debris, and anyone who doesn't attend Official Governmental Religious Services is fined.

Since this morning, tourism has gone up by 0.32 tourists an hour. Also:

Mission accomplished

The western adjus islands

Unpackaged foodstuffs rot on store shelves, the nation has welcomed its expats back with open arms, government-run brothels can be found on every street corner, and drug lords often avoid prison time by teaching "chemistry" classes to underprivileged youth.

Since Manchukuo ruins every single game I try to play as a warlord, I'll be doing a spain game. Should I go Independent Communist or democratic and try not to let the soviets puppet me?
