guys I am true Capitalist.
So a fellow classmate started a conversation with me about anarcho-communism. (Which is ridiculous cause to have that economy you need to have a centralized state) I was bored so I chatted with him about it and my ideas about it (IRL I’m a libertarian) and we pretty much came up with a system that I later found out to be mutualism. (socialist system based on a free market economy in which ownership of the means of production is giving to either the workers collectively or by the individual using them, and the representation of trade by equal amounts of labour in the free market.)
I wished more political conversations where like this, but I was just world building here and I’m not sure if he was actually taking it to heart.
Difference is the Japs got beat and removed from the Philipines. You don't have to live under their boot listening to their self righteous morally superiority.
And your peoples name are not constantly degraded over actions a minority took part in
Imagine if you will a world where the Japs Won the war and still owned the Philipines
Your people would be the Villains of the story. Your culture viewed as backwards at best, being erased by your Jap overlords who claim that they are Morally Superior forgetting to mention what they did to your family and countless other family's like yours, the Philopinos who fought the Japs would be called terrorists and traitors.
Your family would not of been allowed to leave for the U.S.
In this world I think you'd Hate the Japanese with a passion
Just one little detail. "Your people" were not invaded by a foreign country. They lost a democratic election fair and square (through their own fault - they split their own party), acted like very sore losers and started a very violent insurrection without any provocation. So yes, they were villains who afterwards did not get what they deserved because the government they rebelled against chose not to be vindictive and rather act with malice toward none and charity for all. And yes, their culture was backward.
Says the Bolshevik form one of the most Backwards nations on earth.
Yes but the people you speak of are long dead, the south is as American as any other part of the country and thus the people there are American, not some occupied and oppressed group of peoples.
"American" is not a Single unified culture or even a People.

its like in Former Czechoslovakia
you had two main Nations, the Czechs and Slovaks
and they where called Czechoslovakian
But I grow Tired of this Pointless Debate.
coke
Neither. In the next several decades either Coke crashes or the entire US economy. During the pandemic the national debt has skyrocketed and will remain on that trajectory for a while. Eventually we'll have to deal with it. Apart from emergencies like the financial crisis or coronavirus, the main driver of the US national debt is the increase in medical costs. There are multiple causes of the latter, but one of the most important ones is the obesity epidemic. So sooner or later the government will have to do something about it (as well as because it will have more and more trouble finding physically fit military recruits). One of the most painless ways to curb obesity is to reduce consumption of soft drinks (for most people, drinking water instead of Coke is a lot easier than exercising or even eating less). So one way or the other, Coke sales will peak and then decline. Not just in the US - the Mexicans are among the most avid Coke fans in the world, and they have a huge obesity problem too.
damn, your a regular Buzz Killington
Conservatives are pessimists :-)
That's why they are always wary of reforms that liberals propose.
your pretty pessimistic about the Future of the Soda Industry
You can only be pessimist across the board.
Neither. I don't like soda in general.
