Important notice from the Kingdom of Londinium

Dear friend/ally,

I am writing to notify you of our region’s pending re-founding. After two whole years at Londinium and a well-developed community, we’re deciding to pack it in and start afresh! Why? Well, although we’ve had a good run, stagnation of late alongside foundership insecurity has us convinced this is the right decision. Our new home shall offer much the same as we do currently, with an emphasis on opportunities in regional government and an exciting nation roleplay experience.

We wish to cordially invite you to our official opening ceremony on the 10th October. The festivities begin at 09:00 EDT with Niamark’s ribbon-cutting at 13:00. The resumption of foreign relations can be arranged swiftly if (as we hope) you wish to create a new embassy with Niamark. A request or further communication/application will go ahead in the near future.

Good day Conch Kingdom!

A few weeks ago there was a referendum regarding whether CK should remain a part of the Augustin Alliance. It failed to gain the necessary support and thus here we still are. However it did catch the attention of the AA leadership as they did not expect such a drastic measure to occur and as such have expressed the willingness to further address the regional grievances. As such we arrive at this TG and the question at its center:

Why did you vote for or against the referendum? The CK government as a whole would love to know and work together with the AA to work out any and all grievances. In this we (the CK government) would like to know what were the reasons of voting for or against the referendum so we could go forward towards a better working relationship within the AA.

I would agree with that. Plus the fact that the AA deliberately disregarded the legitimacy of the vote and afterwards verbally berated and threatened us. It was bad enough that it even got to me, someone off the discord grid, not to mention people found it appropriate to attack me somewhere I couldn't defend myself. Very professional, don't you think?

Still, I'm gathering all of the regional grievances along with points people found good about being in the AA. The current government will try and work with the AA to resolve at least some of the grievances presented. And I thus hope people will have concrete reasons for wanting to leave the organisation and share them with us
