Hello! This is your new member Holy Empire of Rome IX here. This is my introductory post. I’ve been involved as another country in NationStates as a long time issue handler without involving in communities.
I established Rome IX to build a country based around my Catholic upbringing.

TLDR: long time listener, first time caller. Catholic.

Bread kings

Hello friends, I am glad to be here. I am here to protest both abortion and terrorism. I am here to protest against Palestinian terrorism and genocide. I therefore have allied myself with Ineva. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated.

Happy to be here

Welcome.  Nice flag, BTW.

Who's the DoS user?

Bread Kings, presumably.

Apparently the Bird Network and the Brazilian Supreme Court are publicly criticizing one another. I only need to read a short summary to quickly buy Elon Musk's basic position, because the Brazilian Supreme Court makes it its job to push boundaries, meddle, and stretch the law to its personal liking. For example, they have openly said before that they were privately discussing just manufacting a right to abortion, no previously legal basis or litigant required.

What's the Bird Network's opinion on abortion?

I've made the sad decision to leave NS for good after 9+ years. When first stumbled upon this region in July of 2015 I immediately loved the community here. While being a citizen of Right to Life I was honored to be your president and senator multiple times. From growing as a person to developing my political and religious philosophy, you all have been amazing and I can never thank you enough. New Dolgaria, thank you for showing me how to be a fair and just judge (and always giving a good left wing viewpoint. XD) Horatius Cocles, thank you for showing me what grace and compassion looks like. Phydios, thank you for being the voice of reason and being the most politically and religiously similar person here, I know we had our differences early on but I appreciate all you've done. Aawia thanks for being the commander of the RTLA all those late nights. Culture of Life thank you so much for all of the chances you gave me and faith entrused me with, even when you shouldn't have (i.e. Texasa), I appreciate all of the wisdom and discernment you showed all of the lessons I learned from you. Others that aren't around anymore that I want to thank include UM, New Waldensia, Ovybia, Slavic Lechia, and Saint Pete.

I still believe that Right to Life is amongst the best of NS and thank you all for everything!

Best regards, The RCS

Guys, we cannot forget our fellow friend, RCS. Our Icon in this Region. Let’s all give a round of applause (👏👏👏👏👏) for his 9+ years, and his service as an important roles in this Region.

Oh.their disagreement has nothing to do with abortion, I was just giving a more relevant past example. The Supreme Court wants them to close accounts for spreading Bolsonaro disinformation, by closed door court order, without ever publicly stating who they are targeting.

Hello Right to Life, hope you are all doing good. It's been a while since I posted on the RMB. Nice to see that there are still familar names here and that the region is still going strong!

I'm saddened to learn of your departure, and this message might come too late for you to see it. I want to express my sincere gratitude for your many years here and for your many contributions to the region. Of course, most of us participate on this website through aliases and alternate identities, but to the extent I've come to know you, I valued your friendship and trust that you will do well in the real world and all your future endeavors. Please think of us from time to time, and keep us in your prayers.

Also, I second Aawia's comments above. Although my participation in recent years has been much more sporadic than when I founded this community in 2011, I have always been amazed at the interesting and delightful people (and even sometimes the undelightful people) I have met here. Online communities are almost always fleeting. But somehow, this community has endured for more than a decade. And as new cohorts of players have come and gone, each cohort has added something to the community and made its own mark. At the risk of sounding too sentimental, this community has functioned as a sort of microcosm of the wider world. New people cycle in and out, but certain intangibles -- values or principles, if you will -- remain the same. Like the ship of Theseus, no?

Welcome! It’s good to see another new face around here. I like your flag by the way.

It's a pretty good flag but I personally think it would look a little better if the black text was removed from the purple field (I'm a nerd for Vexillology)
