I, Sivulika, would like to submit a request to join Valsora,

• Nation Name (On Map) : Sivulika
• Brief Overview of Nation : The Republic of Sivulika is one of the few nations that call the artic its home. The country has a long history of First Nation peoples since 1100 CE, having been inhabitied by the Meeqqat (Children) people. The Meeqqat people lived in wide-spread tribes of multiple families, becoming expert nomads within the desolate winter climate as whalers and Caribou herders. Some of these groups settled in the slightly warmer six volcanic Pujoq Islands and became semi-nomadic, staying on the coastline during summer and following the heat of the volcano as winter made its rotations around the islands.

It's not exactly known when it started, but soon people who identified as Slaves and/or Serfs begun fleeing north from the predecessors of Romanoddle, Lointland, Rouental, Cardonia, and even the native people of Vaudere are known to have fled to the region. During this period of fleeing, many of those who arrived in Sivulika orginially merged and adopted the Meeqqats traditions and beliefs, though as more and more people fled to the region, a new culture begun to emerge as the Meeqqats and the many northern Nonisco cultures begun mixing till eventually the Meeqqats became a minority within their own home. Soon, fishing and whaling villages soon become small towns across the coast, though there was never truly a attempt to unite the people under a single modern government, though there were the occasional idea here and there to do so in case the nations of the North ever choose to try and force their runaway Slaves/Serfs back into servitude.

In 1912, a council of leading political, religious, and cultural figures gathered in the largest settlement, Wellspring (Kuukvut - Our River), to proclaim a new Republic, taking the alternated name of Sivulika from the Meeqqat word Sivulliik for the Boötes constellation, commonly called "the first ones" because this pair of stars because they mark the beginning of winter. Thus, the Republic of Sivulika was born.
