Love Peace and Friendship wrote:For most of its modern history past the 1900s the seperate Astovich and Kyrystalis churches were puppets of their state governments. As a fascist dictatorship and a feudal monarchy respectively, they wouldn’t really have any choice but total hostility even if a compromise for religious tolerance was possible.

However, of course, churches could have schismed yet kept the Southern Yastreovkian rite and reunified later.

This is why the Vajizic Church is better.

"Oh? So I'm the one running around without foresight? When was the last time you went and sat in front of a legislature for hours on end, watching as they discussed if the price of milk should go up to cover the dairy percentile? When was the last time you sat down, read, and had to sign off on bills so convoluted it would make the Commonwealth Act blush? When was your last diplomatic visit? When was the last time you had to go to a function? Your people haven't seen you speak in person in months, possibly a year, and you think that I'm the one not in anyone's sight? When I'm not with you, I'm either sleeping, or making radio addresses to the populace, or eating, or doing paperwork! I am just a fancy rubber stamp they put on display at this point, and you would rather have me sit in my cushioned display case then actually, for once, Do Something Productive That Is Of My Own Will!"

Julia would remain silent for a few seconds, before continuing, her tone unavoidably more bitter.
"I won't allow you to shout at me like that again, first off. I understand, truly I do, of how stressful it is being in the situation where you are being attacked on most fronts. But that does not give you a reason to shout at me. Second of all, I wasn't aware that I was allowed to freely leave the hall at any time. I sure would've loved to if it weren't for multiple rock throwing hazards. I sure as sh*t don't prefer you to do nothing, I have been forced to do nothing for so long. I don't think you know how at the very least you are able to speak to your people. Sure as sh*t would've loved to talk to them if it weren't for being besieged. Do you think I enjoy being out of sight of my people? Of my comrades and soldiers? Of the embassy people that I should be ordering them to leave and finally return home to their loved ones? As opposed to making sure that you haven't started to entertain yourself to the idea of becoming a tyrant? I think this siege has made you grow restless and stir crazy, because you would've not have criticised my lack of duty while genuinely thinking I held some pleasure in avoiding it?"

Our nations cannot have bad tensions, why don’t we go our own way and split YastreoVakia into spheres of influence for each respected church. The Vajizic, and the Southern Catholic church

No, holy war for the continent!

Hannah-Vine wrote:My other likely neighbors, such as Pakitsk who just liked the message, can answer as well for their own nations if they'd like :)

The only foreigners we have regular contact with are the Brethren and Zukchiva, with the caveat that this contact has historically been through land-based caravans, so if you lay on the land route between the Grand Ataman's realm and either of those nations you will probably have received Pakatska caravans.

"The Doctors here in Terrabis Seran are some of the best. If they find something, they will know. After that, you could look into getting a arm?"

And that would be?

Forgive me, Supreme Leader Nemesis Chaptaleina. That Nonite Coloratan temptation got me acting counter revolutionary.

Yea, when I industrialize the southern and eastern part of this nation, my first target to spread the Vajizic church is into Vilna, our upper neighbor , if that goes comfortably enough we will spread into Corzerran

“Think we have Chris’s old one in storage somewhere back home. Could always just use that.” Helena lightly laughs.

We shall evangelize in Zapadeslavia and meet you in the center in great shouting matches of religious apologetics!

Though of course, the church has its tools of last resort…

Well... you see, the enemy some necromantic forces integrated into their forces. We had to shoot the avant-gardists dead several times. It was very unexpected and delayed the world revolution by several hours.

Krozland wrote:Avancia League and the Regionists.

How can one provide support for the Avancia League legally? And would it positively affect them if Maneiras endorsed them?

Brethren wrote:[nations]Gloleoinosoil[/nation] I'm pretty sure I ended up not giving you that chunk of land we were talking about (over on the western corner of my coast). I also don't see you anywhere in the area, and of course the irradiated islands are irradiated. Where'd you end up?

Irradiated lands?? O.o; Where specifically would that have been? I'm also inferring that if that player doesn't answer / doesn't get accepted or something then it didn't happen?

Brethren wrote:(Note for Hannah-Vine: Gloleo is the only potential neighbour I've ever had, so "who's in Tvedovo" entirely depends on their response)

Accurate for Tvedovo, though isn't the Directorate also a genuine current direct neighbor for you, except outside of Tvedovo and not as relevant here? Sorry for being semantic, just checking

Brethren wrote:Very few Brethren of any species are interested in migrating out of the Motherland . . . usually. I did have a nasty civil war a while back, though, which could have driven some folks into the wilderness until they found you. A Brethren diaspora created that way would be mostly (if not entirely) alcatus, for Lore Reasons.

I think I said smth in the past about wanting to have some small Brethren communities in the Directorate (and some Zemedievan converts to Dolphinism), so should I structure it the same way?

Illiricium wrote:"Tch... arrogant Coloratan..." *Milize responds in an annoyed, though clearly sheepish tone.*

Sri swipes her tail across Milize's face, it faintly smells of lavender. “Really now is it?” she responds, her attractive posture made clear to Il Duce.
