Forums and RMB discussion. Which do I prefer? The RMB. But why is that? I use forums as well sometimes, after all. I’ve been on communities which depend on forums to RP and haven’t had much issue there. I’ve also done Discord RP which is certainly a bit annoying to deal with when you’re as verbose as me and need to shovel multiple posts across. And I’ve done stuff on the NS forums too.
The RMB is insanely fast. Back in the early days of my presence here, things were are a lot slower. I can’t really keep up with a day’s worth of RP anymore even if I tried. Too much happens. So I’m a lot more quiet here. Banter isn’t common either- oh, yes! Let me explain that. It used to be quite common to do things like:

And so on. It was very quick but could be fun, a nice break from the longer posts and such. These days, that’s not so much a thing. I blame Discord, personally. Discord allows for such convenient communication that many RMB RPers find it a lot easier to do most of the talking there and basically use the RMB as a holiday destination where we actually send our RP. That means a lot of previous connectivity was lost to the place. At least, that’s my view.
I’ve got nothing against other media at all, but the RMB is where I got into things, and where my foundations lie. It’s hard to make my nation work well on forum environment and such. I think all platforms are capable of both incredible and atrocious RP. The RMB is going to be more casual, because people can get away with random chaos here. And really, if that’s what they want, who are we to force them into literary positions? But nonetheless, that does mean that the forums will have as a whole a higher barrier to entry (if only slightly).
Anyway, now I’m rambling. Whoops.

Look, I am very rich. I know the markets better than maybe anyone, just look at how many shares I had during the NS IPO, nobody else was as good as me. But yet I am also a giving person, some say I donate too much money to charity, and this is a great cause! But some people, they walk up to me and say, "mr. Rom, you do realize that if you didn't donate that money to help nations that are being oppressed by 
Frattastan that you could have bought a yacht?" And I always respond to such people that I am a man of the people and that I love to help out a good cause, and what better cause is there than helping Twertis attend the University of Life?

Mhmm....... Keep telling yourself that. People snap eventually. I'm not saying you'll give up on Pacifism, nah, I'm saying you're gonna give up on convincing Soviet that Pacifism is the way he needs to go, because let's face it. The guy is never gonna be Pacifistic, he lives for violence. Plus, no one would trust him if he started acting all nice. It would be too out of character and it would cause suspicion.
You might as well give up, but not now. I still need to bet with Shadow and make some cash to lift my economy back up.
