The region that we set out to build upon is a region of multiple voices and multiple backgrounds. We have come together understanding and welcoming the ability to be able to voice our opinion to build our region for the future. As we continue to press on balance must be understood and put forth as a necessity. Our government must be balanced to ensure all nations who will be coming to it a fair opportunity.

Our government when settled into its Constitutional obligations will be constructed with balance of powers. The legislative branch will be the machinery of developing issues. They will be argued with the soundest and strongest claims. Emotions will flare from time to time, yet the Senate will be called upon to look into what it is best for all ensuring balance. While the legislative branch will be the voice, the executive branch will be the enforcers of those decisions. They will listen to what the legislative branch will want and have the ability to execute them to the fullest extent of the law. The executive position will have a lot of weight on their shoulders. They may even need to act for the well being of the region and stand up to the legislative branch if they feel that actions have been taken that would threaten our region. It is with this understanding that the executive branch must act this way so that we can ensure that all nations will be allowed to be heard. If both branches act irresponsibly it will be the courts who will step in to call into ranks these crucial instruments of democracy. They will see to it that aspects of fairness will be carried out. They will keep in check executive tyranny and the legislative mob for the better of the region. Thus establishing balance.

Since this is what we strive for it is understood that the question on should "voting be mandatory" would arise. The choice to abstain is part of our democratic ideals. It must be measured seriously however. When we choose not to vote, we allow developments to occur that in the end may not be for our best interest. We may be allowed to bring it up again for further voting yet somethings you may only get one opportunity at. The choice to abstain is up to you yet realize the wheels of time are never ceasing in move forward through the ages.

Ben Franklin said "Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb wanting to contest the vote." One way or another decisions on issues will be made hopefully with the rule of balance being taken all the way through the process. Yet always remember that while you vote or not, decisions today will impact us all in this region we wish to build on. Let yourself the opportunity to have a part in this great region of ours.

Good night.

Based on recent turnouts. We effectively allow our region open to puppets and others who may want to provide action in other regions yet don't care about what happens here. Why don't the raiders just come into our region now?

I do hope the show "Who wants to be Immagrant!!" is allowed to air in neighboring nations cause my nation is hoping to make it international for outsiders to watch it,even tho some people who are sensitive about it may disagree..

Democracies are conceived by law in order to be managed by people who are governed by human nature. When adopted, the constitution that will be established will be the only document that will bind this region together. The occupants of this region will either allow it to continue or write another to replace it. The forces that will be trying to pull this region apart will only succeed if those who are responsible for it allow it.

When the courts were instituted long ago, it was usually consisted of elders who had outlived most. Yet in this day, the people now appoint those who are willing to do the service. These people are entrusted to guide us through the trials and tribulations while at the same time balancing the way they look at life. The only guidance that they will use is the constitution that has been adopted. The sooner we as a region have a constitution, and select the nations to run the courts the better for all we will be or we will allow each other to be consumed by powers that have been a part of us for as long humanity has existed.

Good night

It seems we have reached a tie on the past resolution of inactivity. All voting has closed. Since there is a tie, the weight of the decision is now on my shoulders. If I were to decide to eject them, it would be counter to the goal of building our region. We need numbers. To not act upon it would allow this region to be a home for puppets. Who knows where that will lead to.

One of our nation has not been active for over seven days already. It is my opinion that nation states who dwell in our region for over seven days and have not been active in their own nation will be ejected without a ban. I will give a final 24 hour warning on the RMB. If that nation state does not reply to us on our RMB with their reasons of inactivity within that time, the sentence shall be carried out immediately. If they wish to rejoin us later, a 2/3 majority will have to be reached to allow them back in to stay. If they force reentry, I will be open for debate on the next course of action.

The Borderland of FREEEEEDDDOOOOMMMMM has 24 hrs to comply with the above directive before I call out ejection from our region. The floor is open to them or anyone else.

Need to see it before I can give my opinion.

Anybody want to help in recruiting or have any ideas in attracting others like yourself to our region?

Everybody ready for a Trump vs. Sec. Clinton showdown? Is Sanders going independent?

He still has more than just a chance, anyone who tells you otherwise is pushing Clinton

According to the first resolution of the region, we needed 7 nations counting myself before we were to commence discussion on the constitution for the region. Do we have a motion to begin discussion?

Once we have a motion to begin conversation, we will open a 5 day poll to vote on whether we should start the process of drafting a constitution. It will be a yea or nay with 2/3 majority needing to pass for conversation to open.

A constitution is necessary for a successful region. I believe the constitution drafting phases should begin as soon as possible.

The time is now! We are on the verge of creating a strong union. A union bonded by an agreement between those who wish to reside here and its government. Yet we have not had one vote registered for or against after a day has passed with the window being open.

Democracies do not form themselves. The region's most significant moment is at hand. Will you take the initiative or just wait for the first vote to be caste by someone else? What will prevent the mob from taking over the region? What will keep the executive from laying his will over the region?

We need the Constitution my good people. There is always going to be risk whatever choice we make. Why not give it a chance for all those who will follow us. Leave them something to assure them that in this region their voice will be heard and respected under the written word.

Take a stand for yourselves now and those who will follow!

Good Night

It is time to face facts. We have a small region, with many of our members inactive. Anyone who hasn't voted yet isn't paying attention to the polls or is simply inactive. Our region needs a constitution, there is no question to that. Active members of the region should start drafting a constitution. At the end of the voting hours, drafting of the constitution should start. There are many ways that active members could draft a constitution together, one of the most viable that I recommend would be to create a google doc, and share it with people who wish to contribute to the constitution. To add to this, at a set time, we could set up a skype call, and during that time we could draft a constitution. This would provide the best chance for deliberation among the drafters of the constitution. Feel free to critique this idea, and we can get the constitution process moving forward.

Based upon inactivity regulation previously implemented, THE LAST REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA has 24hrs to respond on the RMB about why they should remain in our region.

We have heard from our honorable statesmen from the UMS. Does anyone else wish to have the floor? I will give an opinion in 2 hrs.

A 2/3 majority is often called upon to protect the interest of the minority. Whenever it is called for, we need to meet that mark in order to ensure that principal. We did not reach this in our recent poll. Such developmenta concern me.
Yet it is true that I am the executive of this region. Until there is a change it is my responsibility to act in the best interest of the region. We need a constitution. I heat by declare an open conversation that will conclude with the ratifying of a constitution for this region.
This is to take effect immediately based upon my executive order. Let all channels of communication be open. The floor is open to anyone at this time for discussion on constitutional matters only. May province show us the way.

Sorry for the spelling mistakes. I believe my point is understood. Please ask me if you need any clarity on my points.

The United States had a good idea on balancing the different branches of government, however, in recent years it has become apparent that some branches have too much power over others, and not enough balances over them. I believe that our constitution should be based off of this principle, maintaining many branches of government, maybe even as many as 7 that balance each other, and avoid corruption in any branch of the government.

Can you provide any examples of how branches have to much power over others in the United States?

7 branches of government? That is new. What will those branches be doing necessarily? How will they not overlap each other?

We must understand that with any government or code of law, it is written to "tame" human nature. It is human nature that often leads government astray and not the law that was written.

“When they call the roll in the Senate, the Senators do not know whether to answer 'Present' or 'Not Guilty'.”
The quote appeared to describe the New York legislature in 1904 and later the U.S. senate. Some say it was Theodore Roosevelt that mentioned it.

We can only control what we our doing today. All bets are off after we depart this region.

Yes, for example, the executive branch has far too much power over affairs with the president's ability to use executive orders. The president alone should not have the power to start something like the Vietnam war, or by himself attempt to reform immigration. The judicial branch does not have enough power over the laws passed by federal and state legislature. For instance, the anti-LGBT laws that have been passed in the south are clearly unconstitutional, but it is going to be a while before a court case is brought before the supreme court, and they are forced to be repealed. A basic overview of how I believe the judicial branch should work is; judges should be elected by the public on a 3 year term, with a maximum of a 3 term re-election limit. I am not sure how, but cases have to be brought before the supreme court much faster. Our current legislative branch system works well, and I see no reason to change it a lot, just tweak it. Term limits need to be set on both representatives and senators. Other branches of government that I propose would convert many government agencies (FDA, NSA, DOD, etc.) into government branches, and the leaders of these branches would be elected by the people by direct democracy. This is the basics of how I would set up a government, feel free to ask any questions you want.
