Ikr! I actually had to check that lol XD. Yup. Wow. what is funny is that even though my citizens are pretty average as far as intelligence goes, they still do all that stuff.

my brother has a country that is classified as an inoffensive centrist democracy, but that also has illegalized elections

I've been bouncing around between Father Knows Best, Centrist Democracy, Corrupt Dictatorship, and Democratic Socialist. However, I always fall back in Father Knows Best as I ultimately view my citizens as my children.

I like to write stories and worldbuild. So when I joined nationstates I picked one of my fictional nations and attempted to get it as close as possible. Its mostly worked surprisingly.

Also WOOooooooo, economic powerhouse.

Things got a little crazier once my population statistic exceeded what was reasonable for a single planet without excessive urbanisation. That was a while ago, and it has only become weirder.

I love this tactic!

What happened to my old group lol

Here is a question for all Osirians, if someone came along and presented you with two options,
>number one, a one time check immediately made out to you for one million dollars, or . . .
>number two, one single dollar, which would appreciate in value by 100% in geometric progression once a day for thirty days straight . .
Which one would you choose?

A whopping one million straight up, or wait thirty days on that one dollar to do it's thing.

So check for one million dollars or a dollar that will double in value for thirty day. I will go with option 1 unless I am given a way to legally liquidate the dollar to its true value as it still looks like a dollar and I doubt I would get a fair value from a collector who had enough to cash my incredibly valuable one dollar bill.

I am a patient boy, so I would easily be able to wait 30 days for the 1 dollar that increases in value each day. That being said, 1 million dollars would come in many notes and give vastly more flexibility on spending than a single dollar that is worth as much as it would be. The 1 dollar option should result in oodles more cash at the end, but I shall stick with the instant 1 million (£708,800).

This is a "what if" scenario, so it's assumed that you can collect the total amount that that dollar has become towards the end of 30 days.

Question Of The Day!!

What did you pick on the poll, and why?

Why is this region Egyptian themed? You, know, I never quite understood that.

That's a question you'd have to ask Max Barry. The feeder and sinker regions have, as far as I know, always existed as they are. The Pacifics have always had those names, and the Sinkers have always had theirs.

Chron wrote:Why is this region Egyptian themed? You, know, I never quite understood that.

The sinker regions are named after figures from mythology with ties to resurrection - Balder from Norse mythology, Lazarus from Christian mythology and Osiris from Ancient Egyptian mythology.

I do not eat most marshmallows, as I am vegetarian. There are some vegan marshmallows, but I do not often buy sweets.

Luna State wrote:Question Of The Day!!

I don't eat marshmallow consistently enough to buy it.
