I don't really play games with boss fights. Maybe the mobile Mario game I always played when I was little and asked
at the dentist office to play while waiting for my dad to be done getting his teeth cleaned. The new dentist office is so
much better then the one I went to when I was little. It was built like 2 or 3 years ago.
I did not do RMB stuff for a few days so some catch up stuff.
I am feeling better after being sick much more early last week. Just an annoying cough
that is not dry or super wet feeling.

My favourite video game boss fight was always the Looking Glass Knight in Dark Souls 2. The water-logged arena, the knight's shining shield, the spawning of minions, and the not-terribly-but-still-a-little-challenging fight makes for a wonderful atmosphere.
The most common form of bribery in the Republic has generally been reciprocal favour-trading. An administrator, workplace representative, inspector, or local official might grant someone preferential treatment in exchange for a personal favour, a modest gift, assistance for a friend or relative, or an understanding that the recipient will return the favour later. These arrangements can resemble ordinary friendship, hospitality, or community cooperation, making them harder to identify than an explicit payment. Most cases concern priority access to something limited or desirable rather than access to basic needs. This might include receiving a preferred housing location, moving ahead in a waiting list, obtaining a competitive workplace or educational placement, accelerating a permit or inspection, overlooking a minor regulatory breach, or securing access to a limited recreational or travel opportunity. Some arrangements do not benefit the official directly, instead providing an opportunity or advantage to someone close to them.
Direct monetary bribery is less common. Physical currency no longer exists, Republic banking is entirely public, commercial activity is closely regulated, and official decisions are extensively documented and reviewable. Privacy protections prevent indiscriminate examination of personal transactions, but a properly authorised corruption investigation can follow digital transfers far more easily than physical cash. Large-scale bribery therefore tends to involve foreign currency, overseas assets, concealed hospitality, or assistance from a foreign organisation, and is more often associated with espionage than ordinary domestic corruption. Favour-trading was considerably more common during the Republic’s early decades, when shortages, institutional instability, and uneven administrative capacity gave individual officials greater control over allocations. By 2100, universal provision, clearer allocation systems, public auditability, whistleblower protections, and the Independent Public Integrity Commission have reduced it substantially. It nevertheless remains the most persistent form because laws and accounting systems are generally better at identifying suspicious transactions than determining when a personal relationship has become a corrupt exchange. Republic law consequently treats an improper reciprocal benefit as bribery even where no money changes hands.

What sort of computing technology does your nation's average citizen have access to?
My citizens are princesses and they typically have access to one or two well educated housestaff, who are kept on hand to do arithmetic and spare the princesses the struggle.
Personally, even though Resentine is space age, I imagine their computer tech is very spread out over 80s/90s/2000s all depending on where you are. The further from the capital you are, the less advanced it will be, but it will also be more reliable since replacements aren't readily available. We're not working with UHD TVs though, not ever. Stuck with standard definition, 480p broadcasts for now. :P

There are plenty of boss fights I love - Shagaru Magala from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the Fume Knight from Dark Souls II, Blue from Pokémon Red/Blue, and so many more, but Raven Beak from Metroid: Dread is the best boss fight I have ever experienced, and hits every criteria - superb buildup, cathartic conclusion, immersive gameplay, intense music, excellent phase transitions, and of course a fantastic visual design - but the thing that really sets it apart for me is what sets all of Metroid: Dread's bosses apart from the other games I have played, which is how perfectly pitched the challenge is to teach the player how to win. Raven Beak took me quite a few tries, but on every single try, I either did the same or better than I had previously, never worse. I love the Souls series, but it gets very frustrating to do 70% one run and 20% the next without feeling like I am playing any differently. None of my losses to Raven Beak gave me any frustration at all, and I was thrilled to try again each time.
The Tethysi are in a bit of an odd place given their overwhelming technological advancement and simultaneous devotion to physical media. Each of them could have access to a supercomputer at all times if they wished, even more advanced than our real world's smartphones, but many of them eschew anything that would make them overly dependent, and with their high intelligence and ridiculous memories, most can do fine with only a few essential tools. However, those who choose to draw power from technology are the opposite, utilising, incorporating or even becoming overwhelmingly powerful computers capable of processing a terabyte of data almost instantaneously.
