This is what I can gather, and I reckon it’s very basic. We do have a seasoned R/D gameplayer here in former Senator Snowflame so speak to them if my definition doesn’t explain much.

Basically, the main goal of a raider is to take over the delegacy of the region, because sometimes in certain cases the WA delegate has regional powers. The main goal of a defender is to put a native member of a region in the delegacy position instead of a raider.

Now, this all happens due to endorsements, which I reckon you could gather being it due to the WA delegate. However it is also to do with the update times of the site, in which the whole site updates, thus changing the delegate and selected the featured region of the day and stuff like that. There is a major update and a minor update, however I can’t quite remember when they occur and what they both do. The updates last around an hour, however all regions update at different times in that hour, and that’s very important.

Raiders move to a region and endorse a nation/multiple nations giving one of them the most endorsements and therefore the delegacy. However this can look suspicious if nations arrive and all endorse each other, and so raiders move in at the last minute before the region updates to endorse each other, making it harder to stop and so that they can seize the delegacy.

The raiders have to make sure they come from a region that hasn’t already updated, and so they make/invade regions with late update times, and give them the ‘Jump Point’ as it is a region they go to to move to before the region they’ll invade. Jump points are important because they update late, meaning that the endorsements and other stuff wouldn’t have updated, meaning that the raiders can sneak in instead of waiting.
