Well, today’s the day.

I’ve officially abdicated. To say it’s been a long time is an understatement- I’ve been with with this community in government going on two years now. We’ve certainly had our ups and downs, highs and lows, and if I could go back I know there are many things I’d have done differently/better. For my failures, I am truly sorry, but for our victories I am immensely proud of this community and its resilience. Certainly we are no big time GP region, but despite all odds from Pacifica to here, we’ve survived and we’ve built some lovely friendships along the way. I know I certainly have. I am immensely grateful to each of you for your role in building our community and to many of you (lord knows you know who you are) for keeping my head on straight when I was sure something would blow up or fall apart. Apparently you were right, the (figuratively) world isn’t ending today. :P

To our new King, Bad, I wish you patience and success as you move our region into a new era. I hope in your care, alongside those who’ve already put so much work in, our region can move from surviving to thriving. I have faith in you and in Thalassia that the region can and will reach new heights.

It’s been a pleasure, everyone. Truly, thank you.

To say this is an end of an era is an understatement, For the last year Sho really has been Thalassia and well there have been many highs and lows Sho has been the reason Thalassias community has evolved the way it has over the last year. Im sure Bad will do an amazing job and I look forward to working with him to usher in the next era of Thalassia.
