If Japn attacks you, we will immediatly send our forces to protect you, this is role play, we can get there pretty fast. And besides, me, The greater commonwealth of england and the commonwealth are bumping up our military, (so is practically everyone else), and if you join UFNA, i don't think japan would want to fight all the nations in UFNA.

It is basically a mutual defense pact against anybody outside UFNA, and also a non-aggression pact for anybody inside UFNA.
