Though suffering increasing casualties, the tide of the battles still favors the Grossvietnamese when the long range missiles and the submarine hangars were destroyed, partly blocked the threat for landing operations. Also, the radar sites though not destroyed but neutralized, so partly the fighters can be safer from missiles. But now the real threat is incoming: close range anti air formation. This threat must be eradicated or no planetary invasion.
