"It's not your fault Jazmin, you're a victim just as much as us. I could never blame you for this... Besides, if we did you'd have to blame me too since I was the one who convinced you to come out this way. If I didn't you wouldn't have had the genetic remapping."

The prince stood back up and took a look around the grasslands they were currently in "We can't just stay out in the open like this... I say we should try and find a settlement, preferably one that isn't full of those... Things. The only reason we were alright is because I can turn into pure energy... So I can do all the scouting for human settlements that haven't been infected yet... If that is what's happening..." Taking into account which direction the robot left in, he looked back towards the ship. "Lets take all we can from the shuttle and start walking the opposite way to that robot. Any luck, we'll find a unharmed settlement."

Filia got to her feet before offering Jazmin a hand "Finding normal people sounds nice. Maybe we can learn what's going on and how we put an end to this... At the very least Harlock is immune to whatever that is so maybe he can put an end to whatever is happening... How do you like that, he's the hero for a change instead of a nuisance." She says with a slight chuckle, trying to pep herself up.

"Peasants? I could buy my own continent with the money I have saved up if I wanted." The Lord commander says with an almost joking huff as he looks up towards the palace, his face resting to a smile again "Jut to the driveway huh? Shame... I wanted to see what the view was like from the top, the view from up there must be amazing." He says putting his hands behind his head until they come to the guard station. He doesn't stop them from patting him down, since he wasn't carrying any weapons on him he was all good. He did have his officers badge and other evidence of his station with him just incase he happened to cause a diplomatic scuffle by mistake. Not that he was planning to, but it was always good to have them just incase. Once that was all out of the way he started to jog to catch up to Liline as they ascended up the tone staircase.

With this many guards around someone must be home. If not they must take their security super seriously. It's effective but ultimately super intimidating. He preferred in using more subtle methods when guarding the Royal palace back home, having unseen guards hidden out of sight while having a decent guard compliment on display at all times. It was more secretive, but having changelings scattered around like psionic snipers after the numerous zerg and enemy attacks on the Home World it was just how he liked the place to be protected. "[i]I heard while you were asleep that Harlock was going back to Castameer from here. Looks like we just missed him, maybe we could have gotten a tour of the interior if we met up with him."

Jazmin sighed as she stood up, sighing. “Well... that sounds like a plan at least.” She would help get together as many pieces of equipment as she could carry, before following Harlock. The trio would walk for about two miles before spotting a small town. It seemed modern enough, with roads and trees and buildings. One concerning thing to note was the... silence of it. There were no lights, despite it being around five o’clock. It was all... still...

Liline snapped her finger, “damn... I’ve never been inside the palace... would have been nice to see...” She groaned, jokingly. The two walked up the large stone steps. Eventually coming to the palace itself. Sephus saw the majesty of it all, (https://imgur.com/eL4ANUT). The Mera Emas, the Gleaming Red and Gold Palace of the Bez. Though, this palace was interesting in its design. Sephus noticed that the entire palace itself was the red and white building, but the palace was inside a castle? Like someone had decided they would put their entire beautiful palace behind massive stone walls.
“You know, this place was built inside of the old castle? When the bez was first a nation, the king lived in the big castle you see around you. But the first emperor, jasper, tore the inside of the castle down, left the outer walls up, and built his palace inside the walls. Just a little bit to note. And since then, the only person to add onto the palace was the last empress, the one before the current empress, who added a greenhouse.” Liline pointed at the massive glass building that Sephus had seen before. The wall had been opened, and extended to cover the massive greenhouse. It had a domed roof, but the building itself was rectangle shaped. From this angle, all Sephus could see was green and the bit at the top where it was clear. The castle part had two distinct features, a massive tower on the northeastern corner with a clock, and one turret on the southwestern corner. The turret was a typical castle turret, with cannons. But the tower was a gothic spire with a clock face built into it. But most fascinatingly, the innards of the clock were exposed. The tower consisted of four pillars of stone, all supporting the box with the clock face, and on top of the clock face was the conical point that extended several feet upwards. But below the box and clock face, a massive pendulum swung in the open wind. Gears ground and turned each other with almost no noise what so ever! The clock struck 1 o’clock, letting out a small chime of bells. Bells Sephus could see ringing, then one large bell rung once. As the two looked out in front of them. There was a huge field of grass, a massive lawn. Speckled with people, visitors and tourists. Most were walking the lawn, sitting on benches, there were only a few trees up here. And beyond the lawn/park, there was another set of black iron gates. And beyond that, was the path to the palace. The gates were locked, and soldiers all stood in front of and behind the gate.
