First Council of the IGP

Once again Princess Ainnebelle has entered the headlines, though notably in her first public appearance alongside her brother, the High King, since his announcement of his intent to see her wed. The First Council of the IGP was officially held today in Luidahall, with representatives from all member nations expected to attend and observers from non-members invited to observe the proceedings. Within this first meeting, several things were defined and proposed;

The first was that, until further notice, the IGP Building in Luidahall shall be the headquarters for the organisation and shall, legally, be the property of the organisation, granting diplomatic immunity to all within.

Secondly, it is defined that all members have an equal vote on the Council of the IGP, but a vote may be overturned by the three founding members with a majority vote from the three. This is done to ensure that, while a fair and democratic organisation, the organisation cannot be corrupted by a majority of nations seeking to do ill with the IGP's mission.

Thirdly, this mission was defined as the 'encouragement if international peace and prosperity, the encouragement of aid to nations across the world, and the dedication to protecting the lives of non-combatants from the horrors of war by any and all means within the IGP Peacekeeper Corps power'. This, additionally, officially established the IGP Peacekeeper Corps, known as the IGPPC, and officialised Operation: SILVER DAWN, also known as the Khemmi Mission.

Fourthly, Princess Ainnebelle presented before the gathered nations, and the world, the Luidahall Accords for International Conflict and encouraged not only member states, but all nations of the world, to sign the Accords to bring 'honour and dignity to global conflict.'
