Hallo! Welcome to The East Pacific! I hope you have a great stay! ...but first, if you have the time, read this:

Hi there! I sure hope you're well.

You have joined the amazing, great, wonderful, fantastic, brilliant, joyous, happy, lively, ecstatic, marvellous (I'm British, get used to my spellings), ecstatic, can someone please give me some more positive words The East Pacific!
We call it TEP for short.

Before you can enjoy your newfound freedom, though, you gotta do the important if boring stuff.

First, join the World Assembly which is where we get to vote on important decisions and stuff. Of course, the MAIN reason for joining it is so that you can increase the INFLUENCE of TEP. Of course, this is entirely optional, but it would be great if you could join. After that, endorse (i.e. scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Endorse {nation}") the WA Delegate of TEP, who is currently, as of the writing of this dispatch, Libertanny.

After you've endorsed the Delegate, endorse the Viziers (basically the high-ranking officials on TEP) too if you have the time. All of them are listed here.
Once you've done all that, you're set!

There are a few extra things you CAN do though and SHOULD do if you have the time.
1) Become a citizen If you'd like to gain even MORE rights, then I suggest Linkbecoming a citizen. It doesn't take too long, all you need is an email address (which won't be public), and after a few clicks bang! You are officially a CITIZEN of TEP. One of the major benefits of becoming one is listed below:

2) Join the government If you'd like to be able to have an influence on all the big decisions in TEP, then look no further than Linkjoining the regional government, or the Executive. You'll find there are a lot more choices than you might think, and there's a good chance you'll see something you like the look of. If you want to know in detail about what the various roles do, then you'll want to ask on the:

3) Discord server Linkhttps://discord.gg/qhDtwr9 If you like to chat, then this is the way for you. It's almost always more active than the Regional Message Board, and you can ask questions directly to the experts there.

4) Roleplay I presume you know what Roleplay is. Roleplay maps are maps on which you can roleplay with others (well, I'm not the best at explaining). If you want to join the Roleplay map, then you can't. Because we don't have a "The" roleplay map! Unlike some regions, we have several amazing maps for you to pick your choice from, or even join multiple of. The full list is here.

5) Stay in touch with the news The official news service (there are others, but this is the official one) is called the East Pacific News Service or EPNS, and the latest publication is here. You'll find the articles are expertly written, and the topics are well-chosen and always very informative. Ok, so I may be a little biased, but if you want to see for yourself, check it out.

6) Upvote this dispatch in the top-right-hand corner! If you like it of course

Thanks for reading and have a happy time in TEP!
