I think he's a clone but then again in one of the dispatches you said he was alive by some tech so that's probably how he, his wife, and family are alive
But why didn't his parents try the tech?

Also, I think he was a American spy sent to cause chaos in Russia so they could have a puppet government but He end up backstabbing them
