Interview with the Delegate

Written by Whole india

Firstly Greetings, Sir, can you explain to our readers all about this Refugia stuff, and in detail.

I Don't want to speak on that topic once again. I think the statements from India and of course Refugia explains it well.. You can also see some regions taking the 'right' action.

Fair enough, but I would counter here. Was the resignation of Hindu Mahasabha done under pressure of Refugia? And who will be the minister after him?

It wasn't done under pressure. There isn't a need for Refugia to interfere in our internal matters. He had resigned due to certain circumstances in real life. He is trying to focus more on his RL. Currently, the ministry will takne care by Awell Islands.

This will answer many questions, however, wasn't the TEP withdrawal a major blow to the Foreign Ministry and India's diplomacy?

Of course yes, TEP is, first of all, a Feeder region. I think India had good relations with them and we are friendly with their staffs and community. They also used to be interactive and supportive especially the delegate Libertanny and the diplomat assigned Sokala (Art). Not just the withdrawal of TEPs embassy, The withdrawal of embassies with Caer Sidi and our long time friends from Thaecia and Thalassia was also a massive blow.

So you are accepting the diplomatic set back for India. So, what are the plans for Indian Diplomacy now?

TEP has said that they may review their decision after some time if there's any improvement in India's moderation policies and practices. This will always cause a setback to the current and upcoming diplomatic relations

So, India's like pushed a few months back with regards to diplomacy. This one is a straight question, the people who were a reason for this set back will be punished or not? As one side there is freedom of speech while other side is diplomacy.

They have been warned and some of them who are said to be the real culprits will be prosecuted. I'm not ready to disclose more

Okay, sure. All officials have to keep few things confidential. My next question, Recently India had it's 'Winter Festival 2020', but many events got cancelled and in words of few the festival was 'flop' so what was the reason?

Well... The event was a flop. There were two competitions, one was the Factbook Designing Competition where only one nation entered and the Among Us wasn't successful because of the timing it was held. I think as it was for the first time, things happened like this.

Recently, there was a Harry Potter Festival of friends. I quote your announcement, "India is invited to the Harry Potter Festival of Friends being hosted by XKI, TRR, TSP, TEP, and Greater Dienstad!" So, has this festival improved relations with these regions and has the Refugia-India conflict-affected it?

Well... If you see the list of the regions... You can understand we have Embassies with XKI only. .

You haven't answered the question completely, does this Indo-Refugia conflict affect our relations with TRR and TSP?

We don't have any Diplomatic relations with TSP and TRR. We have a consulate with TSP but there has been no updates from their side.

Okay. Few more questions. Today Awell islands suddenly asked for the closure of 4 embassies, and that decision was revoked by you. So, is there a Cabinet infighting? And why was the closure scheduled?

There isn't any cabinet infighting going on. I had asked him to send me the list so that I can review. I had revoked it as he hadn't updated me on it. The reason will be informed when the embassy closures are scheduled once again.

Now my last question, and I want an answer in detail as much as possible. What are the future plans for India?

India was planning to set up a wiki hosted in Miraheze. I have been trying to update it with the Infoboxes, modules and documentation but I have not been able to get successful. I hope it will be done within a month or two. Then, the sports events are going well. We got the cricket tournament completed last week and now it's time for the soccer one. We are also planning to revive the club tournament in Soccer but the IFCF cutoff is eminent. Ministry of Security will be opening recruitment for people to join the army, soon [people will be informed when opened]

One of the major happenings in the region in December was the All India Cricket Blast Season 3 Tournament. The tournament was also the first one which invited Diplomatic envoys to participate. The Third edition was hosted by Hebitaka and Indusse respectively. The first half happened in Hebitaka and the second in Indusse. In the tournament, Jhalparezhi defeated Wischland's Diplomatic Team (Wischland is the current diplomat from 10000 Islands,Congrats to them!) in the finals to be the champion of Indian cricket once again. Jhalpharezi was the champion in the first edition after they defeated Indusse in then finals. The Second edition was won by Indusse, who defeated the unpleasant and defamed nation of Hamramstan. This time Jhalparezhi defeated Indusse to qualify for the finals. The third place playoff was between Arovakh (Puppet of Achipel, founder of New West Indies) and Hebitaka the hosts. Hebitaka secured a hard win against the team from Arovakh. Congratulations to those reached the finals and commiseration to the others. With the end of AICB3, 2020 Sports Season in India came to an end.

What's Indian Nationalism?

Written by Hindu mahasabha

Nationalism is a political ideology. The word “Nationalism” is used to describe the attitude of the people towards they nation or the actions of the members of state to bring reforms or achieve some form of political sovereignty.

Indian nationalism cannot be perceived with a western lens saying and attribute to us a behavior that the west practice themselves. Nationalism in Europe emerged with Industrial revolution and imperialism to protect mercantile interests.
Nationalism in India emerged in response to British imperialism to secure rights of self determination.
Nationalism in Europe is largely linguistic. Nations are drawn along linguistic differences.
Nationalism in India is based on a shared colonial experience. It evolved a model of ‘Union of states' to address the issue of linguistic differences.

The major difference between Indian Nationalism and others is that, only India have the policy of 'Vasudev Kutumbakam', that is the world is a family. Indian Nationalism was never meant to supress the voice of any other community based on language ot culture, it has always been based on the idea to exist peacefully with diverse cultures and people. It was one of the factors which made the freedom struggle successful and thus has a special place in our constitution and every Indian's heart. To put it into the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "Indian nationalism is not exclusive, nor aggressive, nor destructive."

Indian Nationalism has always been a major part in the Indian Society. Indian Nationalism has played a major role in creating a free and Independent India. Indian Nationalism cannot be seperated from Indians easily, children from their school life are taught about Indian Nationalism. If a child want to pass class ten examination in India they'll surely have to study what is Indian Nationalism. Nationalism in India is a gigantic chapter in the Social Science History Text books.
