The Neuwish public has been getting riled up over the idea of either becoming Interventionist or Isolationist.
The Isolationists claim that Interventionist is just glorified imperialism, isolating can help Neuwland prepare for a defensive war, Neuwland can remain neutral in any Valsoran cold wars, thus remaining completely independent, and the government would focus more on internal problems.
The Interventionists claim that isolating would pull us into a war with Unojo, isolating would starve Neuwland, being interventionist would help peoples suffering in dictatorships, and it would help spread the culture and political ideals of Neuwland.
