But seriously tho, there is one important factor regarding the creation and sustainability of excelllent economy and governance:

Culture.

Unfortunately in many literatures and research this factor has been overlooked for centuries.

By culture i meant the essential values of one nation or race. Things like arts, religion, ethnic customs, family values, etc.

For example, it's undeniable that statistically, nations and races that adhere to islam are lagging behind in science. I know there are many arguments of why this happens, but it's conclusive that they are indeed lagging despite the existence of so-called islamic golden age.

In my view though, the reason for that, as i grew up in salafist family (but then left everything behind), they have stupendeously strong belief against secular education. a salafi parent would rather send their children to islamic school than high school because they want their kids memorize the entire quran to pray for them after they die.
