"While you may need to keep a level head out there...you don't need to pretend everything's ok at home. We'll still love and support you all the same; we'd be fools not to.

William kissed her once again.
"We'll help you throught this...and we'll support any decision you make to get through it."

Kiki looks up at Will with her sad kicked-puppy face, tears streaming down her cheeks. “…R-really?”
“Mhm.”
She smiles softly. “Thanks. I’m sorry. I just… always feel like I need to be so strong. For my country, and for my kids. And Nate’s been through so much too, I’m trying to show him by example how to work through the trauma. I know he’s always going to carry it around and it will always affect him, but I want him to leave the worst of it behind him.”

Connie’s eyes widen. “Oh, sh*t…”
“Hey, they won’t be that powerful—“
“No, I just realized… someday these girls will be dating…” Connie shakes her head. “I don’t want them to date.”
