Absolutely. The traditional west doesn’t really get involved in foreign affairs that much, certainly not as much as they should and as much as I wish they would because I want to genuinely be western-leaning neutral but it’s hard when the west is so hard to reach out to :(

Which is exactly where my concerns come from.
When very few actions come from certain powers, an entire half of the world is heavily silenced. Then they tote power, the power that they very clearly dont have or wont exercise. It's ridiculous and slows a lot of us down to a halt.

Honestly its an easy fix, we just need to underline that if you want to be a major power you need to respond to foreign occurrences in a stately and not individual manner when your Nation would realistically respond.
I responded to the Japanese/Indian invasion of malaysia and i responded favourably to them.
After all why would Russia which has large amounts of trade with India & Japan but hardly any trade with Malaysia side against them?

Stressing stuff like that won’t make people want to respond to foreign events. Either it has to be signed into a law or we just continue with the status quo. Unfortunately there’s no way around it.

Unfortunately, I agree with Antagarichh on this one.
No matter how much we try to enforce a certain way of doing things unto the major world powers, we will be generally ignored. Most people are major world powers just so they can gobble land and have a title of power. When, in all truth, they're frequently outdone by "lesser nations" and in all truth are second rate powers. You can't claim to be the strongest and have consistently weak responses to things.

If we sign it into law there really isnt much of a way to effectively enforce it.
After all different people will disagree on what that Nation would have realistically done, and if or not they would realistically be required to respond.
We simply wont ever be able to mimic IRL in the way that IRL every single event has international responses.
If that happened IC we would be talking about tens of response RPs every week. And not even i could manage that.

Honestly I’m not even talking about realistic responses I just want responses in general. It’s kind of annoying when a country like the US will respond to particular things and not respond to others, or even accept diplomacy requests in general. I know this has been the case for me numerous times with numerous western nations in my time as the EAF.

Like i said before i try to respond to things which would interest my government IC, i generally ignore random things which no matter how "exciting" on the world stage generally wouldnt really interest Putin nor my Government.
Bayern does that sometimes too, although keep in mind Bayern does not have as much time as me to do such responses.
Basically everyone else though, yeah, i dont know why they take up spots as world powers if they are not willing to put in the time. Like some people would say i have no life when i say that i spend hours every day going through every detail of every weapons system i have, searching through Russian Government files to look for some interesting laws to RP etc. But i would just call that part of the job.
