Same, though it seems the proposal will pass...
At least it wasn't too late to change the vote.

When you have so many nations it's hard to keep track of them all... accidentally let my diplomat nation to here CTE. How are you all?

Doing quite well, yourself?

Doing pretty good, how about yourself?

The new Trivian Planetary Colonial Mission has been sent. Glory to Trive!

If you are yet to do so, I'd recommend checking out the Artists of Progress RP on our forums, following a civil conflict in Xiomera: https://theidu.us/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2169

In somewhat related news, Kerlile condemns the nation of Libertas Omnium Maximus for their flagrant violations of international agreements. If you wanna know why, check out the RP :P

Does anyone here use NS++ extension for Chrome? Any opinions about it?

Used to, before I had to reinstall my browser due to my autofill passwords no longer being available; far as I remember, it was quite OK.

I use it, although I've turned off a lot of the features that I don't like. That said, some of the features are quite useful, such as easily switching between puppets, changing the layout of the RMB, and removing threads you don't want to see from the list of threads on the forums. For those features alone, I say it's worth it; you can easily turn off the features you don't want.

Trive here with two quick reminders.

IDUSA members can propose and vote on regional legislation, and participate on the WA Delegate elections.
I've updated the link on the last post, apparently it broke.

I'm fine, thanks! I'm trying to find some time to check here more often, but sometimes it's hard. :)

The IDU now has an international news service, in the mold of the AP and Reuters. Check it out here: https://www.theidu.us/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2228

Though I was hoping to be able to do a little more for it, it's worth noting that on September 7th, following a close race, Incumbent President of Libertas Omnium Maximus, Lucas Brown, was re-elected. This means very little on an international scale, considering that foreign policy will remain effectively the same.

On a note of foreign policy, the Maximusian government unequivocally denies having any hand in the kidnapping of Olivia Pierre. It was obviously a set-up by hostile foreign agents or non-state actors. We are actively investigating the event and are committed to recovering Pierre and bringing the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.

N-Day will start at 06:00 UTC on Sunday 27th September 2020. This year, we are a member of the Potato Alliance. If you're planning to participate, please join the discord server here: https://discord.gg/39BJUu7

To view the start time in your own time zone and a countdown timer, go here: page=news/2020/09/22/index.html

This nation is the alt of Sunemia which will be used for N-Day

Be sure to join the faction "An Alliance of Potatoes"! (The original name for our combined faction was taken)

Happy nuking!

Yes, I'm back, but owing to 'social distancing' (and the library having moved to smaller premises while already-planned changes were made there anyway) without much internet access at present. The next hour that I was able to book, under the current rules, is on Saturday 10th October from c. 10.30am GMT...

IC, only a few days have passed for the Bears since my last post. The calendar date is what it should be to match RL changes, though, even though it matched the RL date at the start of 'lockdown' as well: Some of the more 'aware' Bears have noticed this. and I hear muttered grumbling of "Another furless 'retcon'?!"

I now have 30 notebooks of handwritten 'Regional Ecology' suggestions, although when I'll ever find the time to get any of that typed-up for here...

Glad to have you back. It was a long lockdown indeed.

Great to have you back! I was just wondering today when we'd see you around again. Looking forward to seeing what you've come up with over lockdown!

Great to see that you're back with us. Can't wait to see what you've come up with regarding regional ecology and other aspects of world building.

The Coalition of Crown Albatross is announcing several embassy closures, including with the IDU. After an internal discussion and subsequent vote among all 10 of our cabinet members, we have decided on a course of action including taking into account the activity between forums and overall diplomatic contact, in-game embassy development, betterment to regional cooperation, and connections between communities.

In transparency the vote to close embassies was as follows;

RBU: 8-2
IDU: 7-3
UCEW: 7-3

We wish you the best. Thank you.

The forum and the wiki are down because I forgot to renew the domain (: Yes, laugh and point at the idiot.

Anyway, it may take approx 24 hours for things to re-sync. Apologies for this inconvenience.
