QUESTION OF THE DAY
If you could make a planet, what would it look like?

I'd say probably like four parts. 1. A forested part but all of the trees are willows, and the colors are (pastel for all of these) teal, purple and grey. 2. A coast area with orange, teal and yellow. 3. A mountainous area with teal green and grey. and 4. Caverns with purple and blue glowy crystals (duh).

If any of you have played Sky, think that type of design.

A mega-Earth with spacious steppes, beautiful evergreen forests and blissfully cold deserts and grasslands, with a minority of very high and steep mountains. In addition, it will include a myriad of rivers, isthmuses, peninsulas, straits, islands and archipelagos.

The atmosphere would be lit brightly by the main star, and it'd be completely transparent at night, with slashes of purple.

That planet should be cloudy most of the time. Clouds would be high in altitude, huge in size. I'd like them to always being able to rain.

Fauna is scarce, especially non-edible animals, whereas flora is found everywhere.

Some isolated islands would be inhabited by dwarves and giants. Jungles, however, would be inhabited by elves. Of course, we will be the dominant race.

Possible names might be Mundum Magnum (Latin), Macrocosmos (Greek), Mikilfairhwus (Gothic), Mahajagat (Sanskrit) or Werta (Old Egyptian).

I like the idea, but I doubt I will ever participate, due to the fact that I live far from the United States.

Maybe the best time for anybody else is something done 4 PM Greenwich time, which would be 11 AM New York time, 10 AM Denver time, 9 AM Chicago time, 8 AM Seattle time (assuming most of you all live in the United States, and want to do it in the day, say like in a weekend).

Or alternatively at 3 AM Greenwich time (10 PM New York, 9 PM Chicago, 8 PM Denver, 7 PM Seattle).
