Army all the way
I am going to be shipped off into the US Army when I graduate in May.
If I had to go out, I'd pick the Navy. I'd be the family member to serve in the final branch we haven't yet done.

Coast guard sounds kinda nice. Allow me to explain
1. They are easily the most overlooked branch but they keep doing their work, a very admirable trait.
2. Their work is of great relevance - be it saving lives on or off boats, customs, preventing smuggling or surveillance. The navy is of course a very important branch but they are the "specialists" - you call them occasionally and they do a wonderful job.
3. It's practically risk free compared to the navy. I'd like some safety in my workplace.
