Question of the Day:

What emotion best describes your nation's opinion on gods (whether its own or others)?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
Antipathy. It was beings considered gods that created an entire separate universe for the sole purpose of torturing the Tethysi to death, full of sentient beings created and forced to enact this horrible war. The Tethysi hate gods, but they would never dare underestimate them, and understand that they are best avoided.

Priests hold goddesses in high regard. After all, they provide guaranteed employment for life. And beyond.
The priestesses of Mutt possibly love their goddess most of all. With ten weeks holiday and a wild party each year, there's a lot to be happy with.
Queen Cleoptomania dislikes goddesses (despite being one herself). The effort of being up before dawn so as to get the sun to rise every day is somewhat exhausting.
Regular people can find goddesses rather tiring too, but with five types of pastry being gifted to the people by the goddesses, they can't be all bad.

Fearful but genial. The Heavens shall guide our country towards greatness and safeguard us from perils from the worst of foes, so long should be obey its edicts.

You just have to wait for an issue that can overturn that policy. Sorry.

We believe in the Force but we are very tolerant of any other religious beliefs.
