RP: Enforcing Law

With rampant issues such as economic hardship, pirating, underground resistance, and mafias, the Republic begins enforcing its law heavily. A new Colonial Police Force is made to handle Law Enforcement, Fire Department and EMT is set up as well. Corruption and bribery is not taking lightly, elections for a governor will be starting soon but candidates will have heavy background checks and such to prevent any extremists getting into power. Ships are now required to be searched and checked when leaving or entering ports. The Republic takes a similar stance to Archron empire with pirates, either corporate or be shot. The Republic is getting super serious on dealing with these issues with a goal to get the region stabilized quickly. As for the mafia, the military and expert police investigators from the mainland are put in charge to deal with the threat. Hard drugs are made super illegal but minor drugs like medical Marijuana is made legal to help patients that absolutely need it. Many other laws are made to help govern it.

Sudagricol fought the Ministry of Commerce, but after the Supreme Court voted 11-2 in favor of the Ministry of Commerce, Sudagricol was dissolved and split into 15 different holdings by the Ministry of Commerce.

Bucuresti, Rumania - The Bucuresti Stock Averages closed 1,127 points lower than opening this week after fear of the dissolution of one of Rumania's biggest agricultural company's hit the market. The agricultural sector which is the third largest industry in Rumania was rocked by the dissolution of Sudagricol, it's largest industry player, the affects of the dissolution weren't felt by just the agricultural industry itself, but all the way down the supply chain as production was disrupted and prices increased. Oradea, Rumania - In order to prevent the government from hemorrhaging money and racking up even more debts, Congress has passed a new budget drafted by the Istrati Administration which calls for major cuts to social spending in welfare, transit, and social policy as well as increased spending for the Ministry of National Defense. The war has taken a heavy toll on Rumanian spending, with costs increasing exponentially day-by-day making trouble for President Istrati who promised less-spending and less-taxes in his campaign. Additionally, under pressure from the President, the Reserve lowered interest rates to cope with the market downturn, despite the steady increase in inflation since the start of the war as a result of increased spending and economic stagnation.

RP: Operation Victorie Deplina
Rumanian Forces in Blayredeshia taking advantage of the withdrawal to the trench, have linked up to form a continuous frontline against the Blayredeshians. The Rumanian forces, numbering somewhere around 130,000, have advanced towards the trench, but stopped short of reaching. They await further reinforcements and more supplies before they plan to assail the fortifications.

Once the Rumanian Fleet realizes that their attempted blockade had failed and that the remnants of the Blayredeshian Fleet had broken out, they turned north away from the combat. They are heading to link up with the Delpina Task Force in supporting the land invasions.

After arriving in Schwypia, the 15 NDF divisions (105,000) for Operation Liniste, the invasion of Ponticianre, disembark and wait for further orders. The Rumanian command hopes to coordinate invasions with the Schwypia and Artaecus in hopes of greater success. The Rumanian Akschoss Task Force has changed ports from Central Kowen and has set sail for Schwypia to help with the invasion escort.

RP: "Pride of a Nation"

As the War of Rhode's Folly (as the conflict has been called in the Atomic Schism) has continued to punish and humiliate the Commonwealth's populace, the Schismian Volunteer Paramilitary Navy recently announced the completion of a project to "change the course of the war." Dubbed 'the Fist of Shangralore' by its designers, the citizens of Embark were stunned as a dreadnought-class battleship floated out of the harbor, heading north to the frigid bay. Roughly twice the size of the average Schismian destroyer, the reveal of the battleship has been widely praised and paraded by Volunteer Army. However, with the recently raided town of Basar still in ruins, along with vital building material and food supplies scarce, the civilian reaction has been adamantly against the wanton construction of anymore ships; especially with the cost of construction rising with each passing day.

Nevertheless, 'the Fist of Shangralore,' as well as two new destroyers have been sent to "protect" the Atomic Schism from any naval invasion. The current number of destroyers patrolling the waters north of Hymn Island, not including the new battleship, is now 14.

RP: Pontifey in Revolt!

But as the new ships passed by the Northern Coast of Hymn Island, presumably to boost the nonexistent morale of the City of Pontifey's populace, many citizens of the city began to gather on the beach and ports--completely forgetting about the freezing winter. Several fishermen took to their boats and traveled out to 'the Fist of Shangralore,' where they began hurling rocks and scratching at the metal hull of the battleship. After several warning from the ship's personnel, one of the fisherman attempted to board the ship, failed, then subsequently drowned in the freezing waters. The death of the fisherman, and the lack action by the ship's personal to save him, threw the watching crowd into a frenzy as they watched the entire monetary value of their city sail away. When soldiers arrived to disperse them, the crowd attacked the troops, overpowering them in a vicious frenzy. In just a few moments, the soldiers found themselves retreating as rioters began firing their own laser rifles at them.

The soldiers retreated to the town square, where they were soon surrounded by hundreds of rioters, all of them throwing rocks and other debris. Interestingly, many reported that within the crowd, troops not currently on duty were present in the riot, encouraging their comrades to join them. Though these sources could not be confirmed, by the end of the day the recently constructed fort outside of Pontifey had been taken over by AWOL soldiers and furious citizens, effectively turning control of the city to the rioters.

At the news, Chancellor Rhodes has given the order for soldiers stationed in other areas of Hymn Island to converge on the city to suppress the riots. However the new de-facto leader of Pontifey, the wife of the now drowned fisherman, Veishei v Ponvteifei, has encouraged other cities on Hymn Island to join them in their "necessary act of civil disobedience. . ."

RP: Illegal Weaponry in the Borderlands

As the riots in Pontifey escalate, a recent rise in counterfeit goods in the Borderlands Provinces of Forwest and Deseast has been noted. Ballistic weapons and ammunition have been found with increasing regularity during police raids on major city gangs. As such, Chancellor Rhodes has requested a personal meeting with High Priestess Svtearer and High Priest Achunvtearer of the Dual Church regarding the sudden appearance of the ballistic weapons.

Coinciding with Rhode's request for a meeting, the Prophet of the New Northern Faith (and the ex-High Priest of the now Old Church of Shangralore), Schueiold Acheaolol, has left his state of seclusion and meditation to also visit the leaders of the Dual Church. Claiming to have witnessed the destiny of the Shangralorian faiths, Prophet Schueiold stated to his flock that he would make the journey to Royalberg on foot over the course of the following weeks, sparking concerns of its possibility due to the deadly winter and even deadlier fanatics. Acheaolol has put aside these concerns, stating that in the unlikely event he does not return, Acheinseolv will guide the way to a new "unifier of the Universe."

RP || The M8: Production halted

As Dushkaria's society breaks down, so does the production line of Artaecus' main war machine: the M8 Palisade. Several key components required for the vehicle to work comes from Baset-Madovv, a company that operates in Dushkaria. With them out of business, the production line has to be temporarily halted while solutions to fix the problem are being thought up.

One of which was to attempt to copy the parts already present in completed vehicles, but due to the nature of Dushkari tools, it might be more costly and time-consuming to figure out how they've managed to constuct such parts. The Artaecusian Government formally requests the Archron empire to aid them in search for the missing patents and possibly to strip down Baset-Madovv's production facilities and ship it back to Artaecus for evaluation and reverse-engineering the tools, molds and everything else needed to make these parts.

Hundreds of vehicles sit incomplete in factory depots, workers are left wondering whether they'll lose their jobs over this mess or if ADI will retain them.

Having been denied an extension to his emergency term, President Roman Payne was forced to run against Mayor Angelica Hethwyr in his 5th presidential race. From the offset, this race seemed very different than all others he had run in, and that was due to the caliber of his opponent. A media savant, Angelica Hethwyr has spent the past six years preparing for this election; one could argue that her campaign truly started in 2100. In this field, not even Payne could compete. He could sway politicians, sure, but the vote to reestablish the elections showed that they had awoken from his spell. And on the night of January 1st, for the first time in 18 years, Roman Payne was no longer President of Schwypia. So it was that on January 31st, Angelica Hethwyr, Mayor of Philosa and former Queen of the realm, was sworn into office.

With the fear of being discovered, The Luwuian Intelligence Agency was moving the Admiral when she escaped and jumped out of the helicopter into a river in Jungles of North-Western Luwuia. it appears she stole a backpack from the helicopter as well. The Luwuian Intelligence Agency and the Naval Special Warfare Group are working together to try and find her.
