I'm too lazy to describe it, but you'll figure it out. Just click around here and there and 'copy link'.

Yeah, definitely not 100 MB. ㅡㅅㅡ

We used to live in a bungalow in Brighton Crescent.

I can remember having to walk up the road to King Stores and cross the busy road to the bus stop to catch my school bus to Seletar via Jalan Kayu [not sure if that's the correct spelling]

Dad used to take me with him to the Captains Cabin in town, it was near a large roundabout, I was only allowed orange juice and peanuts in those days though. Lol

I always remember going to the market and being terrified by the Chinese theatre - the noise. Lol

I really must dig out the old photo slides from the loft - I wonder if the projector still works?

Each day I learn something new about you, like I didn't know you lived in Singapore for a bit! (Was is still technically part of Malaysia back then?)

Lol

No, Singapore became independent on 9 August 1965, Singapore separated from Malaysia to become an independent and sovereign state.

Malaysia, geographically, is a very close neighbour.

The island lies 24 nautical miles (44 km) from the next easternmost point of Singapore, and 7.7 nautical miles (14.3 km) southeast of the Malaysian coastline.

It merged with Malaya to form Malaysia in 1963 to gain independence from the British, due to racial riots, it separated form Malaysia on 9 August 1965 ( National Day).

I've been campaigning for this for a couple days now, but how would you like to have a Turkic minority somewhere? Perhaps even being of Ikaş- which, of course, wouldn't really be necessary. However, it is the bandwagon I'm trying to stir up. You'll be the first "Eastern" Ikaş (Oghuz) sub-branch o-o
this would also enable the eligibility for the TCC :]

🏆 May 1st marks the debut of the 2024 Lennart Awards by our Ministry of Culture! Go check it out, everybody! Nominate somebody here in TNP! :D

The Lennarts Awards, named after the original host of the first Lennarts Awards back in 2013 are a set of awards that help to honor and recognize annually nations within our community.

It consists of 12 categories of awards ranging from "Most Active" (awarding those for their activity), "Rising Star" (a category that honors newer members who have heavily contributed to the good of TNP), and my personal favorite "Golden Heart" (an award recognizing the kindness and joy a member of TNP brings)! More info within the dispatch, and in our TNP Forums! :)

Requirements:
Both the nominator/nominee currently reside within TNP! :)

To nominate somebody:
1. With a forums account, go to the specific forums thread that corresponds with the category listed in the dispatch or in TNP forums and nominate a nation or more through there, you may nominate multiple nations in different or same categories! :D
2. Without a forums account or without using forums, telegram The Council Democracy of The Anddoran Commune with the name(s) of the award and the resident(s) you wish to nominate!

Please, do not hesitate to nominate somebody and show that their contributions are recognized in TNP, it could mean a lot to them and show that the things they do here do not go unrecognized! While I am not directly affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, I am free to answer overall general inquiries, but if I do not have the answer, feel free to direct them to our Minister of Culture, The Anddoran Commune through telegrams/Discord or to our current delegate, Kaschovia! Yellow weather warning:

Yellow Warning: Yellow warnings can be issued for a range of weather situations.

Many are issued when it is likely that the weather will cause some low level impacts, including some disruption to travel in a few places.

A yellow warning is the one down from amber, so is the least severe warning of the three.

It means the weather is likely to have some impact for some people, for example travel disruption, but others will be able to can just carry on as normal.

Is it safe to travel in a yellow weather warning?

Driving in a yellow warning may not pose a likely risk, but there is likely to be increased congestion and disruption on the road.

Driving in amber and red warnings pose a greater risk, therefore travel should be avoided unless absolutely essential.
