What is this?
The North Pacific WA Development Program (WADP) is a campaign to increase awareness among nations in The North Pacific of the benefits of World Assembly (WA) membership, maintaining high endorsement counts, and voting on WA resolutions. We hope that this campaign will result in a significant increase in the number of WA members, the number of endorsements exchanged, and the number of WA votes cast within The North Pacific. If these objectives are achieved, The North Pacific will become a much more influential and secure region.
Who is running this campaign?
This campaign is organized and coordinated jointly by the Delegate and the Security Council of The North Pacific. The regional security aspects are managed by the Security Council of the North Pacific and the voting aspects are managed by the World Assembly Delegate.
I am interested in helping. What can I do?
First of all, you should make sure to do what is mentioned in the TL;DR box above: first join the World Assembly if you are not already a member, continue to become a Keeper of the North, then continue exchanging endorsements, and finally make sure to vote on World Assembly resolutions.
If you want to go above and beyond, you can help promote this campaign in the following ways:
~ Send telegrams to nations in The North Pacific pointing them to this dispatch, or directly encouraging them to join the World Assembly, become Keepers, and exchange endorsements.
~ Advertise the campaign in materials you publish by using the campaign logo (shown below with code) and linking to this dispatch.

How can I keep track of how well we are doing?
Take a look at the reports tab above, which includes many statistics informative of the progress of the campaign.
What do I gain from all this?
First, as mentioned above, by participating in this campaign, you help make our region safer and more influential. This is good for all nations in The North Pacific, including you!
Second, if you do decide to join the World Assembly member, become a Keeper of the North, actively exchange endorsements, and consistently vote on World Assembly resolutions, your nation and your game experience overall will improve in several important ways, described in detail in the three previous links.
Third, if you show that you are actively exchanging endorsements, we will promote your nation so that you can gain endorsements even faster!
Fourth, we will be handing out a generous amount of participation awards and achievements. That's right, there will be a lot of bling you can use to show off. We will also be maintaining special regional censuses, to highlight the most active and consistent endorsers in the region. You can find out more by looking at the benefits tab above.
Last but not least, every day we give away free legendary cards through the card lottery. By participating in this campaign, you can expand your collection to include some of the most valuable cards in the game.
I have some thoughts on improving the WADP, whom do I contact?
Thanks! We greatly appreciate all constructive feedback. Please contact Vice Delegate Chipoli with any comments or questions you may have. The Security Council runs regular surveys regarding the WADP and other areas. No survey is currently open. This page will be updated with ongoing surveys.

Welcome to The North Pacific!
Welcome to The North Pacific (TNP)! You might be a new nation to the game or in TNP, and you don't really know what is going on or where to start. Or you may be an experienced member but have several questions regarding some of the activities going on. Whatever the case, we have put together this handbook that you can use to familiarize yourself with the game and TNP, and to make the most out of your time in NationStates (NS).
The handbook has a number of different sections. The index below will help you navigate them. If you have any questions not answered in this handbook, feel free to send a telegram to Delegate Kaschovia, Minister of Home Affairs Lionsroar, or any of the Gameside Advocates and Mentors. They will be glad to help! Additionally, we are always looking to improve this handbook, so let us now if you think something should be added or changed.
Onboarding Checklist
This section covers the very first items you should check off as a newcomer to the game and TNP.
Why you should be in TNP: Selecting a region for your nation is one of the most important decisions you will make in the game. We hope you will make TNP your home, and this link explains why. If you have already decided to stay here, that's great!
Join the regional forum: The forum is where most government and roleplay activities take place. Registering an account is very easy. You should get yourself an account so that you can check out what's going on and join in on the fun.
Join our regional chat: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and chat about the game and real life subjects. You can join and introduce yourself to our community. Additionally, if you have any questions, asking on Discord is the fastest way to get help.
Apply for citizenship: Citizenship is your ticket to TNP. As a citizen, you can vote to elect our Delegate and other government officials, hold them accountable, and even run for these positions yourself. All you need to apply is a nation in TNP and an account on the forum.
Ways to Get Involved
Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.
Get involved in the government: There are many ways to get involved in the government straight away after joining TNP. You can write the regional laws in the Regional Assembly. You can take part in the day-to-day running of the region in the Executive Staff. Or, you can protect TNP at home and abroad in the North Pacific Army.
Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!
Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.
Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.

2. If you make a post on the RMB asking to be put on the map, or put it in a factbook or dispatch, you will be ignored, please refrain from doing so.
3. Try your best to find out in advance WHERE you would like to claim, not just "can i join the map pls" or a vague "this rough area pls" *points at an entire continent* Get yourself paint.net, make a thing, show where you want it. Or at the very absolute least try to put in words exactly where, it's not that hard.
4. When you know where you want to be, stay there, don't ask carto if you can move. "B-b-but that spot is nicer and-" Should have thought of that in advance.

Claims must be:
1. Reasonable enough to be put onto the map. No beginner nation will be the size of Friently, or higher, for their claim. If you want more accurate claims and you have Paint.net, beginner claims have a limit of 40k pixels. Your secondary nation will have to be at 20k pixels or less. However a secondary cannot be claimed immediately upon joining the map.
2. Picky is good. Feel free to request changes to borders if you aren't happy with them.
3. This map's planet is the same size as Earth, so we won't be making the map any bigger. If Earth can fit 200 nations, so can this.
4. We are not changing or adding new territory to the map. Use the existing land more efficiently and we won't need any more.
5. Not on any body of water.

Map removal will occur when:
1. AFRP, or Away From RP (not RPing for 30 days, 20 days in the case of people on other RMB maps)
2. RMB RP Ban (if one clause states "therefore, the RMB Cartography Staff shall remove <nation> from the map")
3. Cease to Exist (when the nation dies in the 28th day. Exceptions apply.)
4. Moderator Sanctioned
5. RP posts are not up to standard (refrain from making posts that are just one sentence)

Map 57 |
Overview |
Welcome to the Pegasia, a new world as you may say that houses many ideologies and is home to two resident superpowers; the Imperial Federation(ping AGU and Tonga) and the Republic of Yingguo(Ping Krustevland). With the technology year being 1975, it is currently the cold war period presently being butted between the nations of what Yingguo considers as the "Free World" and the Imperial "Monarchist League" with many inbetweens such as Gayogohono/Overhadamine and Verisaw. In this world, you decide how your nation acts, reacts and conducts itself on the world stage, so long as it follows our rules on the discord. The cold war rages on by the day, and the nuclear clock continues to roll as the few sit ontop of the many with their masses of power and strength. Come join us today, we need you to fight on the good fight - or your own fight, if you may. STANDARDS OF REALISM |
If you are interested in submitting a claim, be sure to contact the following nations: -Truavania (For Pegasia) |

double posting ftw
“Right...let’s get down to business.”
Arsenial Dex dropped the envelope on the table. A picture slid out of it partly out, waiting for it to be revealed to the world. In front of him were other high-ranking officials within the Inter-Strangereal Investigation Agency, who were all very anxious to see the photograph.
The Inter-Strangereal Investigation Agency sometimes referred to as ISIA, but better known simply as the Agency was one of the leading agencies within Strangereal, tasked with the collection, analysis, and appropriate dissemination of foreign intelligence. For years they had been working behind the scenes, carefully watching various nations and persons of interest. They conducted operations - sometimes considered illegal in most cases - throughout Strangereal, but very few actually knew what those operations were.
In all essence, it was a spy agency. And a damn good one at that. Yet, at the moment, everyone seemed to be nervous and a bit rattled.
“Dragon Five was supposed to be back 17 hours ago!” one of the men said.
“It’s obvious to me...they’ve been shot down.” another said.
“Perhaps it landed in the Erinevo - engine failure of some sorts, I don’t know.”
Their conversations nearly became unintelligible, as everyone was talking over each other. All the meanwhile, Arsenal Dex was reclining in his chair very calmly. He had been staring at the photograph that he was holding within his hands. It was an image of what appeared to be an island - there were massive cliffs and mountains, which made it obvious that the terrain was very hazardous. Within one corner of the photo, there was what appeared to be a small town, though the quality of the photo made it hard to fully make out everything.
Finally, he spoke.
“Gentlemen, please, calm down.”
Immediately everyone stopped and looked at Dex. He reclined forwards in his chair, placing the image down on the table.
“Let us review upon what evidence we have. Dragon Five underwent all preflight checks. Atkinson Airfield gave us the all-clear to proceed, which we were all present to witness. At 1900 hours, Dragon Five took off and headed towards the AO. Radio contact was maintained until fifty miles away from the target, of course, to maintain radio silence. And here we are now, 17 hours later.
“We’re lucky to have even received this information from the interrogations Don and his team did to those defectors. We know of the Greenhouses, we have a glimpse into what went down after the dissolution, and - my favorite part - what actually happened to Mark O and Solomon.”
“That still won’t bring Dragon Five back,” someone commented.
“No, it won’t.”
Dex tapped the table, and immediately an LCD screen flickered to life, embedded within it. He pressed a few more buttons, which showed what appeared to be Dragon Five’s flight path. A dotted red trail showed that it flew from Atkinson Airfield towards the AO in the Erinevo Ocean, where it abruptly stopped in the middle of nowhere.
“If we deduce where Dragon Five’s tracking beacon was last heard from, then it must mean that the island is around here.”
As he said that, a circle enveloped the area where the dotted trail ended.
“This gives us about a fifty or sixty-mile area to search, which shouldn’t be too difficult given the vicinity of Fusea to the east.”
“The Fuseans are going to wonder why the Agencies there you know,” someone said.
“I have an idea in mind, but it’s going to involve some black operations. Something I know many of you is keen experts on.”
“Why couldn’t we have used a satellite instead?” one of the newer members of this meeting asked. “We could’ve avoided this whole mess in the first place.”
Dex turned towards him.
“I most certainly would’ve authorized the use of satellites, but ever since that treaty all of Strangereal signed, any form of space-borne spyware is outlawed. That’s why we needed to the old-fashioned way - a really freaking fast spy plane. Now, without further ado - let’s go and find Yugobatania.”
