In response to the Deerfenese election, and the recent declaration of restricted zones on Usonea, Kyoki Chudoku has made a single comment.
“Hello! Hi everyone! Hi! It’s me, Gikochinai! Today I have some announcements to make! Number one! We have heard that some ships aren’t allowed to go into part of Usonea! We don’t really care since we have nothing there. But our friends do! So they might go past to get to their stuff! We don’t like it when people annoy our friends, and their ships have lots of big guns! So we think it’s a good idea to let them have fun with each other and not get in the way! But Aozora also said that I should tell our friends to be careful! I hope nobody gets hurt!”
“Number two! Congratulations on winning the election in Deerfeenland! I forgot the name of who won, but that’s ok! I love you anyway! Aozora said you’ll probably fail, but I still believe in you! So don’t worry! Do your best! And if you do fail, that’s ok, I still love you!”
“That’s all I have to say! I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I love you all!”

...INCOMING MESSAGE
The screen shows a busy city, calmly going through its nightly routine as Obernkamp Citizens head home for the day. There is a deafening sound as the RIA Headquarters building slowly starts to fall. The Rectasse Agency building collapses at 616 Pm that evening. Debree from the 21 story building is scattered everywhere as a cloud of dust engulfs the surrounding blocks
the TV goes to static for a second and then cuts back to a figure. The man wears a White Imperial Helmet, Visor down to cover his face, of the Old Ausavaria Kingdom.
"Good evening, Obernkamp. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. Lets start by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now lead scientist, Axel Vorgrimler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. tonight I destroyed the RIA building, to remind this country of what it has forgotten..."
The broadcast suddenly ends with the Rectasse Gear, over it with the words. "The Greatest Asset of our people, is their will to fight."

Hawkins shut off the TV. He couldn't believe what he was hearing in the slightest. It was ubsurd to think that a nation would have a guy like this run it. He took a deep sigh, stood up from his desk chair and sat on the couch next to Flores.
"So, Flores. What do you think of this guy?" He said, referring to Donald.
Flores looked at Hawkins and shrugged. "Seems like he knows how to tell people what they want to hear, that's for sure. He seems to have insane ideas, but, hey, what can we do. As long as they keep to themselves and don't start any stupid wars or become one of the Reds, I don't care."
Hawkins nodded.
"I guess I would have to agree with you there. Can't put the Kibosh on someone both elected and an ally."

Resolution Analysis
This is the second incarnation of this proposal. The first was submitted for vote roughly one year ago, and little has changed between that version and this. The Ministry cited a significant problem with version one (FTSMC), in that it created potential conflicts with standing legislation GAR#389, relating to the closure of national borders, and the prohibition of temporary emigration at times of quarantine during epidemics. Should the need arise to repeal and replace GAR#389 with a more comprehensive version, the passage of FTSMC would have rendered that legally impossible. The loss of that ability to declare quarantines, and close national borders, would present an unacceptable risk to the greater public health of the WA, writ large. While the Ministry, then, supported the premise of FTMSC, it could not support the proposal without a suggested, minor edit to language, alleviating that problem. In the current version, those recommendations have gone ignored, the troublesome language remains, as does the potential conflict. It appears the author simply sat on the proposal for a year, made minor amendments that did not address previous concerns, then added a "II" to the title in hopes that voters would forget. This shows a certain complacency, which is further highlighted by the garbled text that appeared in the previous version and remains uncorrected a year later. For these reasons, The Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against this proposal.

Oh, What we do for Truth.
February 13th, 1964
Thomas Woodrow yelled back at the men as they got into their car, flailing his arms in anger
"You f***ers can't just conscript me! I'll miss work! Do you know what I do! I'm a gosh darn journalist! The agency won't know what to do without me you Fed BASTARDS!" He yelled the last part with his remaining breath, his face red from the lack of oxygen. The car had by now pulled away, and was stopped at a streetlight down a ways.
He panted for a second, trying to re gain his composure. Thomas then leaned back against the building behind him, bathed in the fuzzy glow of the red and blue of the diners neon sign. He heard the sign humming, only to be drowned out by the whoosh of a passing car, kicking up street water. He finally looked down at the paper he was handed. It was written in pencil, hastily done with stylized, flowing block characters. In the dim light from the sign and the edge of a street lamps range, he could make out but a few numbers. There was a 7, for sure an 8, maybe a...9? Could be an 8 too though..
He decided to try and stop squinting and went back into the diner, where he was met with stares from the few people still inside. Thomas made eye contact with a few of them, in an awkward glancing way. He payed not mind to it really, and read the address. It was:
18415 33rd Ave SE. Lynwood, South Tanabon. 89603.
He read the address, and turned the paper over. It revealed more writing.
"If your thinking of saying that your news agency needs you, we've already contacted them and let them know of your leave."
Thomas let out a sign and shoved the paper into his pocket before returning to his car for the quick trip home. He lived in one of the suburbs south of the city, in one of the cookie cutter rambler houses. He lived there with his wife and one son, who was 10. They were named Martha and John respectively.once home, He dropped his briefcase in the doorway, and headed to sleep instantly. He lay for an hour in his white shirt and , constantly checking the paper again and again. He was quiet about it, hoping not to wake Martha up, who was of course sound asleep.
The next morning he did his usual routine. Give a kiss to his wife as he woke up, put on his suit, make coffee, eat breakfast with his son, say "Hey, champ!" When he woke up and came to the table. Read the paper, grovel about how it would be a better story if he wrote it. Same routine every day, same wholesome and worth while feeling in his heart. He hadn't told Martha of his assignment, but would make sure to call.
Once he arrived at the address, he made an interesting discovery. It was an Army Recruiters office, with the black car from the night before outside. He rolled his eyes and entered the building, to find an officer of some caliber in his green dress uniform conversing with the men from last night.
"Ah! We wondered when you would be arriving. Bright and early it would seem, I suppose." The Officer said. He approached Thomas
"I'm Colonel Peters, from the US Army. It's good to have you here." He said, extending his hand.
Thomas accepted, staring at the two agents. They stared back, through dark sunglasses though. Expressions of which there were none on their faces. He shook the Colonels hand.
"Yeah, great to be here." Thomas said in a flat tone.
"Let's get the small talk out of the way. We need reporters for the front line in Pollonia. I'm sure you've heard of the helicopter. Proved themselves in the Ariganese Civil War, mostly used for Evac back then. They are the best, newest Military advances in tech and firepower, along with transport that we've ever had! Air Calvary. That's what we have now. And my friend, your going to be documenting it all." The Colonel said, and gestured to the wall of pictures on the wall of frontline Infantry, F-4 Phantom IIs, and Hueys.
"Eh, do I really have to?" He said, looking at the three with a distrustful eye.
"Oh, most certainly. Grandpa Joe has called on you to do this for your nation, it's only proper that you accept. Also, you've been selected, it's not a volunteer thing." He said, still looking at the glory shots of the Army.
Thomas stood for a second and said
"...Fine, sure, I guess it's my duty. For Tanabon, am I right?" He said.
