Princev took a deep breath trying to keep his calm. He was not saddened by Thomas's death in fact he was elated. He was livid about the outlandish demands of the Tommattioan officer for the Pandoskan military to step down and his outrageous accusation.

"We the Pandoskan people demand that the state of Tommattio withdraw from the border area and engage in dialogue or risk walking down a path of no return. In response to this provocative deployment we will deploy the 3rd army to the border and the Strategic Missile troops will be targeting your cities for strike if and when I give the order to do so. As for the soldier and the officer they will be charged with illegally crossing the border and do face life incarceration or death unless our demands are met. If your new government agrees to de-escalate, retreat, and admit to the covert coup we will release the men while demobilizing 90% of our own forces from the border. I leave it to you people of Tommattio how I see it our tensions have reached it's zenith and it is time for you to decides fight a misdirected conflict facing utter devastation or come to the table concede and bring your boys home. On the border the ground forces of some million reservist along with 3,000 tanks, APCs, and IFVs dig in ready for immediate combat. Towed artillery pieces, Mortars, and Multiple Launch Rocket Systems stand ready on a elevated point ready to rain down ordinance on the Tommattioans. Airbases across the country have runways packed with battle ready aircraft awaiting the order to strike while mobile launchers of the Strategic Missile Force carrying ballistic missile with explosive warheads take position. There missiles pretargeted and ready for launch on the President's order.
