It was the first week after the coup,and things were going bad so far.The Nationalist Army had pushed back what little resistance was all the way to Concord,and they had captured most of the politicians who dared speak up.Including those was none other than President Adam East.

He was taken to a far-off rail station,where he was then loaded in a quite lavish cabin,and served actually decent food.But he knew well what that meant:an execution.It was a tradition of the Lahos Monarchy to give those who they captured a last lavish ride before their cruel death,and it seemed like Johnson wanted to do the same thing.As he sat in the train,he started contemplating what would happen to the nation:would it fall into a new dark age?Would anyone dare resist,and if so,would they succeed?What about the citizens of Concord or Mentoze,who did not support the coup?There were so many questions yet no answers.

But as he sat there,thinking about the future,something weird happened.The train stopped.Adam initially thought he had finally arrived,but then the distant sounds of gunshots made him doubt that.''What is going on?'' he asked himself.Then,the shots grew louder,almost like they were coming from the train itself.Then,silence again.But the peace was interrupted by a loud smash:the locked door of his cabin had been forcefully opened,and through came a few surprising figures:fully armed soldiers,wearing camouflage and equipped with LC-17's,as well as some special equipment.The first man in the group,likely the commander of the squad,said ''Mister President,we are here to rescue you.'' in an urgent tone.At first Adam was reluctant,but once he saw the patches of the original Federation Army on their uniforms,unlike the new Nationalist ones,he agreed to follow them.Outside was a humvee,accompanied by a group of several other humvee's with turrets mounted.As he entered the vehicle,he could hear the frantic voices on the radio talking about what was happening on the field.

The driver gloriously announced the rescue of the President,as the men on the radio breath a sigh of relief.

After a long drive through the rocky roads of the forests which concealed them,they arrive at an old,abandoned castle near the front.Not exactly luxury,but this is war after all.As Adam is guided by the soldiers through the castle,he is saluted by the many officers and conscripts of the resistance.He finally arrives at the briefing room,where he meets a familiar face:High General James Stonewall.He salutes the President and shakes his hand,as he explains the situation at hand:

''You see sir,our forces have set up a defensive line at Concord.Right now,we are defending as best as we can,and we are trying to manage the situation.'' he says.''Right now,we are out gunned and we have about the same numbers,but we can't still go on the offensive.Our idea wou-'' he manages to say,before being cut off.

''Sir,we got a...situation on our hands.'' says an officer,rushing in the room.
