If 1984 Came True Part 2:

The war was now in full swing. Eripolis had already nuked several Oceanian cities. killing millions and millions of Oceanians in the process. Oceania, in return, retaliated: Several major
Eripolisian cities were struck, but the government evacuated these cities in advance. These were initial setbacks to Eripolis. By then, the rest of the North Pacific had joined Eripolis, with
Tanabon and Sil Dorsett as major contributors.

Eripolis then took the Disputed Zone, which encompassed Africa and south Asia, as well as the Pacific islands. From these zones, it set up various military bases and missile silos, a process which
took various months. While this happened, Leader came out and made a speech on April 14, 1985:

"These regimes are regimes of terror, oppression, and poverty, which subvert their populations and starve them. They cannot compare to great Eripolis, the last bastion of freedom in a world
of virtual slavery. Their peoples cannot fight, and as a result we must free them! We cannot allow this world to be humanity's future! These bastard tyrannies will be destroyed by us, the people of
Eripolis, and we will fight to the final breath! As Patrick Henry said, 'Give me liberty or give me death!!!'"

After that speech, Eripolis launched thousands of conventional-explosive missiles at Eurasia and Eastasia. Neither could fight back by then, for their militaries had been destroyed by the Eripolisian
military. Both superstates were nearly annihilated by the attack, but somehow survived and kept fighting, despite the loss of billions of Eurasians and Eastasians combined. Eastasia, after the attack,
replaced its lost population within mere days, and with the help of new rapid-maturation technologies, stolen from Eripolis, that allowed the newborns to mature in a matter of weeks.

Oceania wasn't getting spared, either. Over a matter of mere months, its territory had been reduced to the British Isles and a small portion of Australia. Suddenly, like lightning, an Eripolisian bomber
bombed the four Ministries-the Ministries of Truth, Peace, Plenty, and Love. All four building housing these ministries were completely destroyed. Oceania had, effectively, been decapitated. Without
the Ministries to maintain Oceania, it fought incoherently against Eripolis. By then, Oceanians were beginning to question the government, even questioning the very existence of Big Brother.
Eventually, people realized that he was fake after all, a fabrication of the Inner Party.

Mere days after the attack, on September 10, 1985, Eripolis surrounded Oceanian forces in London. Oceania then surrendered unconditionally, and Oceania was finally dissolved after more than
thirty years of terrorizing its citizens. Eurasia, by then, was reduced to a small area of land inside of what was once Norway, and it too surrendered, after months of relentless nuclear bombing by
Eripolis and after realizing that the war was lost. Eastasia, on the other hand, continued to fight ferociously, and Eripolis was forced to absolutely and utterly obliterate Eastasia by thermonucelar
weapons, killing every single Eastasian.

On October 4, 1985, the war was declared over, with Eripolis victorious. The world was occupied by Eripolisian forces, while Eastasia, now a desolate wasteland, was left to rot. Eripolis then proceeded
to reinstall the British government-in-exile in the British Isles and the pre-Revolution British Empire, while the American government was repatriated to its former territories, the contiguous United
States as well as all territorial possessions that it possessed up to the time of the Revolutions that saw the creation of the three superstates. Eripolis had brought democracy and free enterprise once
again to the world, and people were once again free after decades of oppression.
