The entirety of the three provinces on the nation's southern border was declared the rendevous point for Sarkish forces. Within the area a curfew had been enforced and all of the railway lines would only be used for the transport of soldiers from other parts of the country.

The atmosphere in the area was nothing short of tense as the soldiers spoke little, waiting in an eerie silence for further instruction from their superiors. And instruction did come as the last of the soldiers arrived, giddy from the long train ride, the force now 100,000 troops strong. Officers at the front of the crowd then barked commands and the soldiers organised themselves accordingly, all troops grouped by company.

Order was soon given for the troops to advance into Eripolis, and the march began once more.

I think Friently's treaty states that nukes shouldn't be able to wipe an entire population, they should be limited to being not very modern.
