america using no more than probably 50 bil out of their 1 trill dollar yearly military budget has made enough nukes to destroy the entire planet in under a century. now lets do some math here: if we got rid of our army for a century, that costs at least 1 trillion dollars a year, now thats money free to spend (we have a bigger economy than the usa) - 50 bil every year for nukes, that's still 950 bil per year at least. whats more, these automated weapons already exist and based on seeing pictures of them, they couldn't possibly cost more than 10k each for automated turrets, and the average soldier costs far more than 10 k through various benefits and yearly paychecks. and America has millions of them. whats more, turrets and nukes are a 1 time payment. effectively, this strategy is far cheaper than your armies and is easily within current technology constraints. china back hundreds of years ago built the great wall, which we will also be able to build a wall of that. also 1 trillion times 100 years is 100 trillion lol. this project can be pretty easily done if im seeing this right. if not, you can always raise taxes for a large project that will in the long term save tons of money since you will never need to make nukes, defenses, or an army really ever again except for maintenance and auto defense upgrades over time.

Round 2

First up, thats just incorrect.

"Between 1940 and 1996, the U.S. government spent at least $9.3 trillion in present-day terms on nuclear weapons, including platforms development (aircraft, rockets and facilities), command and control, maintenance, waste management and administrative costs"

In fact, if you take it up to today, its probably even more.

Second, to construct a wall around your entire border would be insanely high. Billions upon billions of dollars, not to mention the cost in lives and the length of time it would take to be built. Trump's border wall, which is like a bunch of 30 foot tall steel rods, costs between 20 to 50 billion dollars. The Great Wall of China today would cost anywhere from 13 to 65 billion dollars, and that didn't even defend the whole border. And don't forget you have to maintain and repair it.

A CIWS system, which isn't even firing missiles, cost 5 million dollars a piece. Add the cost of missiles in, and its much more.

Third, if u have no army, how would u not be invaded. Especially before the nukes or wall were built, you'd get taken over. Don't tell me ur neighbors wouldn't want to: they invade u in a heartbeat cause ur an easy target. And what about internal strife or rebellions? How would that work?

And finally, we've gone over that ur GDP doesn't make sense and is unrealistic. Using to to justify your position doesn't really work.

So in closing: nukes are much more expensive, the wall is much more expensive, the turrets are much more expensive, and u woulda been taken over

i said 50 bil every year for a century average, not over 56. also, that's only 9 % of 100 trill, in 56 years instead of 100. not a good enough comparison to say its too expensive. 60 billion of 100 trillion for a wall is nothing as well. also, turrets are small, and actually use tricks like just holding AAK 47's and being able to aim and shoot them, so that's pretty cheap compared to a soldier that costs the military on average at least 50 - 100 k. with 100 trillion dollar budget, all those things can be done. also, the wall wouldn't cost very many lives at all. were not working them half to death and people have been doing more dangerous projects in cities ever since they were invented.

Yes, China did build the Great Wall, but you seem to be underestimating how much it cost. The Great Wall as you see it today was built over the span of 1,700 years, from the Qin to Ming Dynasties, (before that, individual Chinese states had their own smaller walls), and cost vast amounts of money and manpower. During the Qin dynasty, the First Emperor relied on forced conscription to gain the labor necessary to build the wall, and anywhere from a few hundred thousand to a million workers died building the wall. The misery that this caused the population was so great, that several folk tales revolve around a man being forced to work on the wall. The founder of the Han Dynasty, Liu Bang, was an army captain who had the task to transport conscripted workers to the building site, and after a series of delays, he decided simply to free all the workers, since the penalty for being late was death, they'd die anyway. This was one of the things that would drive him to rebel. In addition, the cost of the Ming era wall was about 8 times the GDP of the entire Ming Empire. So yes, you would be able to construct something comparable to the Great Wall of China today, but it would cost a considerable amount (read: all) of your budget and take a lot of time. Also, you'd have to construct several of them, since the Great Wall only defended the Northern border.

Thats still wrong tho
The U.S spent 10 trillion dollars in 50 years, probably more
Meaning it cost u about 20-25 trillion dollars
And again, the wall would cost an excessive amount more if it went all the way around your border, billions upon billions at least
and even if you use primitive weapons, to get them all around the way would be expensive as well
How tall is the wall? It's gotta be huge it doesn't get blown apart easily, making it very costly.
What about aircraft, they can fly right over? Do u border water, cause that'd have to be walled up too. What about ships, with large caliber guns and missiles?
And again, u never answered y no one would invade u, apparently a ridiculously wealthy country, when u had no army, wall or nukes?

that was with crappy technology that they built the great wall. whats more, we have 100 trill to blow, remember? this wont put a dent in it. also, we have 100 years. also look at my technology and scientific development stats. a wall wouldnt take more than 100 years and our budget unless your telling me it will cost like 80 trillion

first of all, invaders get their country nuked to oblivion. secondly, would the expenses be more than 80 trillion? if not than we can cover the wall and automated defense and nuke costs

After all, u can't make them magically appear

Well, yes, they didn't have good technology to build the wall, but then again, the wall didn't need much technology. The only thing that stopped the barbarians from building ladders and climbing over it was possibly the largest military on earth at that time. Make note that the Ming were the richest empire on earth, and had a GDP of 30-50% of that of the world. Given that you have no military at all, the wall will need to be both much more advanced and much larger. That will produce a comparative budget to what the Ming needed to spend on the wall. It will probably not cost 80 trillion, rather, it would cost 800 trillion. Also, your NS statistics don't mean anything, as my scientific advancement stat is twice yours, and still I don't construct giant walls that waste money. And I'm a Chinese themed nation.
